  • Before Jumping To Season 2 Here Is The Storyline Of The Previous Season Attack On Titan Season 1:

Centuries ago, mankind was slaughtered to near extinction by monstrous humanoid creatures called titans, forcing humans to hide in fear behind enormous concentric walls. What makes these giants truly terrifying is that their taste for human flesh is not born out of hunger but what appears to be out of pleasure. To ensure their survival, the remnants of humanity began living within defensive barriers, resulting in one hundred years without a single titan encounter. However, that fragile calm is soon shattered when a colossal titan manages to breach the supposedly impregnable outer wall, reigniting the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations.

After witnessing a horrific personal loss at the hands of the invading creatures, Eren Yeager dedicates his life to their eradication by enlisting into the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that combats the merciless humanoids outside the protection of the walls. Based on Hajime Isayamas award-winning manga,;Shingeki no Kyojin;follows Eren, along with his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and his childhood friend Armin Arlert, as they join the brutal war against the titans and race to discover a way of defeating them before the last walls are breached.

Shingeki No Kyojin Watch Order Guide

Shingeki no Kyojin has now become the face of the anime genre. Its an incredibly gripping action show capable of converting non-anime fans into regular watchers. When watching this series, you might wide open your mouth for 5-10 seconds without even realizing. That much intensity, it packs into every fight scene. But be prepared if you are not a fan of gore or hate watching characters die just after their introductions. The series has an amazingly composed story with a very dark premise.

If you are wondering about watching Attack on Titan, then I would recommend you to be mentally prepared. You would get hooked from the episode and might end up emotionally exhausted and mangled by the end. The adrenaline would rush so fast in your brain while watching Shingeki no Kyojin that you would lose all trains of thought.

The first season of Attack on Titan was so popular that fans were praying for a new season. While the studio took some time to reveal the second season, it was worth waiting for it. After that, the studio started consistently releasing new seasons and OVAs. Now with four seasons and three OVAs it might be confusing for the new fans.

If you are planning to watch Shingeki no Kyojin , then watch it according to this order:

    • Shingeki no Kyojin
    • Shingeki no Kyojin OVA
    • Shingeki no Kyojin: Kuinaki Sentaku
    • Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2
    • Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3
    • Shingeki no Kyojin: Lost Girls
    • Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 Part 2

All 11 Titan Types In Attack On Titan Explained

Attack on Titans features Titans of varying types, some being stronger than others. Here are 11 types of Titans, including The Nine Titans, explained.

The events of Attack on Titan have perennially been catalyzed by the presence of Titans, whose existence spans back to 2,000 years within the animes timeline. Based on Hajime Isayamas manga of the same name, Attack on Titan centers around Eren Jaeger, who goes on to join the 104th Cadet Corps after a smiling Titan devours his mother, giving way to his discovery of unlocking the power of a Titan itself. Interestingly, while most Titans share overlapping characteristics and weaknesses, they are by no means a homogenous threat as different types of Titans harbor their own set of unique traits.

Throughout the course of Attack on Titan, it is revealed that a Titans sole purpose is to seek out and devour humans, although they do not necessarily derive food-based sustenance from human flesh. While pain tolerance varies among Titans, most of these humanoid monsters display little to no signs of intelligence, making them easy to trick or deceive. However, there are exceptions in the form of a few Abnormals and the infinitely-more powerful Nine Titans, who possess the ability to strategize, detect traps, and turn the odds in their favor during a fight.

    Top 10 Strongest Titans

CADY ABE WRITES- On Sunday, March 28th, MAPPA animation studio released the last episode of the first half of Attack on Titans fourth and final season. Attack on Titan, a manga turned anime that first aired in 2013, is currently the best-known anime in Japan. In addition, it has accumulated a huge fanbase reaching across multiple countries and languages. Writer, creator and artist Hajime Isayama is not yet done, but he leaves fans waiting nearly another year, for part two, in Winter 2022.

As a popular anime production company, MAPPA changed its type of art for the Attack on Titan anime, from 2D drawings to computer-generated imagery in order to save time in production. But the change created backlash within the anime community, as the new animation style was choppy. Still, this was no big problem because of Isayamas masterful writing.

No catastrophe is too large, or small, for Isayama. War, death, destruction, genocide and gore are common occurrences in his mind-twisting anime. Every to be continued at the end of each episode leaves audiences asking questions, creating theories about what has and will happen and craving more.

Attack on Titan is not only a riveting, all engrossing and entertaining show, but one that provides social commentary and holds a mirror up to us all.

    Attack On Titan Nendoroid

From 2014, after the great success of the Attack on Titan manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama and of its anime version directed by Tetsuro Araki and produced by Wit Studio , Nendoroid released several Nendoroid figures based on the Attack on Titan series. It features some of the most popular main and secondary characters of the series with different clothes, facial expression and poses.

Every character featured in a Nendoroid version comes in general with their uniforms. In the case of [Eren[, Mikasa and Armin, they come with their 104th Training Corpss uniform, while Hange, Erwin and Levi are wearing their Survey Corps uniforms. They also include a complete Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, as well as dual blades and effect parts to display them soaring through the air, in order to reproduce the characters famous poses during combat scenes in the series. Also, Erwin comes with an alternate front hair part to display him with his hair loose. All the figures are painted ABS & PVC and their height is approximately 100 mm.

Storyline And Setting; A Tale Of Shock And Awe

The first point regarding Attack on Titans popularity is rather obvious, the storyline and setting are phenomenal.

At its core, Attack on Titan has a simple plot that you could explain in a single sentence; Humanity now resides within three gigantic walls after nearly being wiped out from existence by monstrous creatures called Titans, who surround them on all sides. Thats it. Thats the basis for the entire show.

Obviously, things are a little bit more complicated than that, but its this simplicity in the basic story that provides the crucial foundation for a deeper and politically-driven plotline to develop over the next four seasons.

Re watching Attack on Titan was the best decision I ever made.

    Fuyuki

Following that simple concept of humanity vs titans, the narrative grows into a masterpiece of intertwining stories from both an individual and collective perspective.

From what started with a young boy training to avenge his mother, we are now watching a full-scale war unfold between two nations with that same boy possessing world-ending powers; and we understand exactly why/how this has happened.

Its incredible that we can summarise the plot of Attack on Titan in a few sentences, but could talk for hours about individual characters or events thats the sign of a phenomenal storyline.

The Difference Between Shounen And Seinen

Before diving deep into the real classification of Attack on Titan, it is important to understand the basics of a shounen and a seinen.

A shounen manga is often marketed to teen males between the ages 12 and 18. The age group may vary with the individual readers and various magazines. A shounen manga has high-action sequences, which may contain humorous subplots. Some of the common themes in shounen manga are science-fiction, robots, martial arts, mythological creatures, or horror.

A shounen manga may include camaraderie in teams and fighting squads. The protagonists in a shounen series are often emphasized to have a desire to become better and may often face challenges with their skills and abilities. Some of the common values include self-perfection, self-discipline, sacrifice in the cause of duty, as well as honorable service to society, family, or community.;Meanwhile, a seinen is marketed to young adult men. It often targets the demographic of 18 to 45 years old. The seinen manga often focuses on politics, action, science-fiction, fantasy, comedy, relationships, and sports. It may contain scenes that are more violent than a shounen series.;It has to be noted that in some cases, shonen and seinen mangas borrow themes from one another. This means that the themes are not limited to either shonen or seinen.

    Season 3 And Compilation Film

On June 17, 2017, a third season was announced at the close of the second season’s final episode, with a release date slated for July 23, 2018. A trailer for the third season was released on April 27, 2018. The series’ third season aired in Japan on NHK General TV on July 23, 2018, with its first part running to October 15, 2018. Part 2 of the series’ third season aired from April 29 to July 1, 2019. Hajime Isayama, the original manga’s author and illustrator, works closely with the animators to ensure faithfulness to the story and gives suggestions, as well. In 2018, it was revealed that Isayama regretted doing a certain part of the manga in a certain way, so he personally requested the animation studio to make some changes in the anime. The studio honored this wish, resulting in the first part of Season 3 being a little different from the corresponding manga chapters. A fourth compilation film, Attack on Titan: Chronicle , recaps all three seasons and was released on July 17, 2020.

    Longevity; An Enduring War

Going further on that idea of watching characters grow over time, Attack on Titan has been a mainstay in the anime world for over seven years.

Whether you watched the series when it first premiered or started in the years following, it feels like Attack on Titan has been a part of our lives for a long, long time. This is arguably because many of us, as viewers, have grown up alongside the series and the characters.

For those of us who started the series in 2013, we have been watching Attack on Titan for seven years. For comparison, Eren joins the Survey Corps when he is 12-year-old and is now aged 19 in the current arc, so he has also grown up over a seven-year period.

However, Attack on Titans longevity is not only about its past, its also about its future. Whilst I cant speak for every fan, its safe to say that at some point in the decades to come, most of us will revisit the series again.

Thats the basis of longevity: Attack on Titan has been a long-running series that has developed alongside its audience and its an anime that will likely stand the test of time.

attack on titan is a masterpiece and chapter 138 confirmed it. everything adds up and nothing seems out of topic. eren truly is the best written character and the best mc to exist in anime and there is no doubt about it. thanks yams
