Creating animations is expensive because there is a lot of work going into creating it. Even if it is a very Simple Animation it still needs a lot of work.
Anime already is one of the more cheaper variations of Animation, because it is comparably simple in style. Anime was invented because of the high Animation costs and was specially developed to cost less. If you are worried about anime needing to be from japan then don´t be, there are actually non-japanese animes out there. So Animes can be made in American for example.

How To Make An Anime Theme Song
You know if you do make an animeone important thing to consider is the music. How many people can forget the themes to shows like SAO, One-Punch Man and one of the biggest Neon Genesis. Ive lived in Japan and A Cruel Angels Thesis is on the Karaoke list. To be honest I miss a ton of old school soundtracks we used to get in the 80s and 90s. It has been quite some time since weve seen a real soundtrack. I guess that is why Guardians of the Galaxy was so refreshing.
So when making your animedont forget.you need a good theme song.

Since I don’t know you personally, I’ll give you the best advice I think would benefit most people: The best way to get noticed is to create things.
Having a BFA in animation or a diploma from an online school will definitely help, but it won’t guarantee a job after graduation.
You know what I did the day after graduation?
Continued animating for my reel. And that’s what I did everyday until I got my first freelance work. And then after work kept working on more shots so I’ll be ready for the time the freelance project was over.

Plan For Printing Before You Draw The Actual Manga
Before you start drawing the actual manga there are a few things you should be aware of.
If you actually plan on getting your manga professionally printed you should do some research on the standard print sizes for such material. If you are just drawing your manga for practice and will print it at home you can do whatever your home printer can handle. With that said it might still be better to try and do one in a size standardized for the industry even if its just for practice.
It is important to also be aware that the standard sizes for a manga in a country like Japan may be different to what is standard for a comic book in other countries. Be careful to actually get the size that is available for you to print in.
If you want your manga printed you should also be aware of the live area, bleed and trim.
Common Mistakes Young Anime Artists Make
When you start out drawing manga there are a few pitfalls and lazy tricks that almost everyone is guilty of doing.
If youre starting out then learn what they are and how to avoid them. These mistakes are so common then nearly every great anime artist was guilty of doing at least one of them when they were learning!
Remember: Youre still gaining knowledge and growing. Its not about the end product you create, but rather what you learned in the process.

Pay Attention To Industry Influencers
Continuing on from my last point, when youre online its easy to pay attention to people who have influence in the anime
- Manufacturers.
- Distribution companies.
And a handful of others. This is much more difficult if youre not based in the US or Japan.
But in those cases, thats where websites come into play. Because of the internet theres an opportunity to work for anime companies online. Assuming they allow that and are looking to hire new people.
One thing I will say though is: this is something Id recommend IF youre serious.
Theres almost no better way to get into an industry by working for it. But the anime industry in particular is so much more difficult compared to a lot of industries.
Its the kind of thing you need to commit yourself to, and even be passionate about. Because its a long-term game.
Again, this is something Id recommend only if youre serious.
Working for the industry is one way to get through the door. But starting your own anime business is the BEST way to get into the industry.
And it makes sense why.
If you end up building your business into something worthwhile, youll be contributing to the industry in more ways than you believe.
And at the same time, youll be a part of the industry in the most literal way possible.
Other than starting your own anime website or blog, theres almost nothing that compares.
But this is the path only for the most serious, dedicated and committed.
Character Design Vs Normal Drawing
Designing a character for an anime or a manga is quite different than doing a one time sketch. In a one time drawing you only have to worry about what your subject will look like from that one view for that one drawing. In a manga or an animation a character will likely have to be drawn many times from multiple views/angles.

So becoming a volunteer and doing your part to help, while getting a taste of the anime industry is a benefit to you and whoever youre volunteering with.
