My Hero Academia Season 4
2019 is shaping up to be a breakout year for anime releases, with everything from the latest shonen sensations to long awaited adaptations of seinin classics. Of whats already been confirmed, whether it is brand new shows, or returning shows with new seasons, these are the 15 best new anime of 2019 to have on your radar.
My Hero Academia had a fantastic year in 2018. Its popularity only grew thanks to a stellar third season, the release of its first feature film My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in theaters worldwide, and a video game adaptation in the form of My Hero: Ones Justice.
It look like itll keep up that momentum too, with a fourth season confirmed for release in Oct. 2019 in early December. The announcement came with a key visual of series protagonist Izuku Deku Midoriya running alongside Mirio Lemillion Togata, one of the top three students at UA.
Though little else has been revealed at this point, the plot points left hanging at the end of season three point toward a new threat emerging to cause havoc and destruction. Midoriya will have to further understand his quirk One for All to stop it, though Mirio and his master may be able to help him along the way.
What Is ‘super Crooks’ About
The upcoming anime takes place in a world of superheroes and supervillains. Like in most stories, villains always seem to lose out in the end as the heroes swoop in to save the day. But in an interesting departure from superhero lore, Super Crooks shines a spotlight on those unfortunate bad guys.
Super Crooks follows Johnny Bolt, a small-time supervillain who uses his eponymous powers of electricity to steal money in order to pay off the gambling debts he’s built up. In one last make-or-break gig, Johnny looks to recruit a ragtag group of eight fellow villains in order to pull off one last heist targeting a super-powered crime lord. The risks are high and the reward is even higher, but Johnny is willing to bet it all so that those he loves can live a normal life.
Johnny Bolt will be voiced by Kenjiro Tsuda in Japanese . His lover, Kasey, is played by Maaya Sakamoto . Other actors include Junichi Suwabe ,Subaru Kimura , andWataru Hatano .

Anime’s favorite thief has been busy in recent years. Lupin the 3rd: Part V was only three years ago in 2018, which was only three years after Part IV in 2015. Lupin the 3rd: Part 6 moves the action to England, with Lupin III becoming Sherlock Holmes’s top suspect in the murder of Dr. James Watson. Made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Lupin III anime, the new series is bringing on a variety of guest writers including Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii.

Those Snow White Notes is a masterfully created slice of life anime focusing on self-exploration and growth.

The slice-of-life anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is one of the best anime after 2000s. It is initially published as a light novel in 2003, which was adapted into anime in 2006. Is Anime Okay For Young Kids
Because anime’s so broad-reaching in its subject matter, it’s possible to find anime aimed at just about every age group. Some titles are specifically for younger viewers or are suitable for all ages like the animated series “Pokémon” or Studio Ghibli film “My Neighbor Totoro” while others are aimed at teenage audiences and older like “InuYasha.” There are even some animes aimed at older teens like “Death Note” and some for mature audiences only like “Monster” and “Queens Blade.”
Japanese cultural attitudes about sexuality and violence require some titles to be placed a category higher than they might normally be. Nudity, for instance, is handled much more casually in Japan sometimes a show that isn’t meant specifically for adults will have material which may seem racy to Western viewers.
Anime distributors are generally quite conscious of these issues and will include either an actual MPAA rating or a TV Parental Guidelines rating as an indicator of what the intended audience is for the show. Check the show’s packaging or program listing to see which rating applies.
Confused about where to start? We recommend checking out the sci-fi, cyberpunk “Cowboy Bebop” or a swords-and-sorcery tale called “Berserk.” If you already know a friend who’s an anime fan, clue them in on what you like to watch they should be able to guide you towards what’s best and what’s new in that category.

Hirotaka and Narumi are two office workers who used to go to the same middle school together. So far so normal. But they actually have something else in common they both are terrible nerds, to the point its made it impossible for them to enter a lasting relationship, because their partners just wouldnt understand. Once Narumi and Hirotaka discovers this about each other, they decide to date on the spot. After all, it sounds quite efficient to have someone who will play MMOs with you, who will make sure you wont miss limited edition merchandise and who you can discuss your favourite anime with. But is that all it takes to date?
WotaKoi is such fun because it exemplifies something we all want someone to share our likes and interests with, or who at least understands them. Hirotaka and Narumi enter what at first seems like a relationship of convenience, but thats because they actually dont know how to date and because their time-consuming hobbies get in the way. Its also nice to see a show affirm the joy of having a hobby even as an adult, even though WotaKoi makes its protagonists seem a little too into things.

Natsume’s Book Of Friends

Growing up hasn’t been easy for Natsume, because he’s an orphan, and also because he can see yokai, or spirits, that no one else can. This makes him a bit of an outcast, but when he inherits a book from his late grandmother, his life suddenly makes a lot more sense. She could see spirits, too, and “bound” many of them to her in the Book of Friends, which is why they now hound poor Natsume.
The simple premise of the show is that Natsume seeks out these spirits in order to restore their names to them and unbind them. It’s a show that manages to be melancholy and heartwarming from episode to episode and even moment to moment. It’s a slice-of-life series with a touch of the supernatural, but what makes it great is how it uses those supernatural encounters to tell human stories. Getting to watch Natsume grow across many seasons keeps the formula from feeling rote.
Mo Dao Zu Shi Altered An Industry
Fans of The Untamed have only grown in number in the past few years. A novel that became a donghua and then became a profitable live-action series, Mo Dao Zu Shi manages to toe a very fine line between progressive, solid storytelling and avoiding censorship from the Chinese government. Given the constraints MDZS has had to contend with, its success is truly a landmark, and proves that what the public wants and what an oppressive society allows are often at odds.
The donghua version of the story is beautifully animated. Set in a version of ancient China rife with supernatural elements, the story focuses on Wei Wuxian, a dark magic cultivator, who resurrects after his death and reunites with the man he loved, Lan Wangji. As in No. 6, queer characters take part in the story without romance being the central point of the story.

Fullmetal Alchemist And Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Not quite as cerebral or surreal as other shows in this list, FMA is a tightly wound high-fantasy series that has garnered several generations of fans. A bit of explanation: Full Metal Alchemist takes a turn halfway through that changes the story vastly from the series source material, while Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a more strictly adhered-to adaptation of the original books. Most FMA acolytes think the latter is far superior, but both are excellent. Telling the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric, brothers who survived a traumatic magical accident now hoping to right their mistakes of the past the show explores themes of filial piety and the ramifications of global war.

My Hero Academia Is Dominating Tumblr’s Anime Year In Review
It is easy to find people talking about anime these days, . In fact, the blogging site is one of the premier places to talk about their favorite series and manga titles. Of course, that means Tumblr likes to track which franchises are doing the best, and it turns out that Izuku Midoriya is beating out everyone where popularity is concerned.
The update comes from Tumblr itself as the site began rolling out its year in review for 2021. Today, the site gave users insights into its most popular anime topics, and My Hero Academia is thriving.
According to Tumblr, My Hero Academia came in first place amongst all anime and manga series this year. In fact, it even ranked on the site’s top 21 topics overall. The superhero anime landed in tenth place overall, beating out BTS, Star Wars, Bucky Barnes, and more.
As for the rest of the anime list, Jujutsu Kaisen came in second lace before Haikyuu hit up the third spot. SK8 the Infinity was a new addition to the list this year, but fans are hardly surprised it got fourth place given how big its anime has become. In fifth place, Attack on Titan secured its spot before Naruto and One Piece followed. And to wrap things up, the final three spots went to Mo Dao Zu Sui, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Tokyo Revengers.
