Drawing Anime Feet From Bottom View
Drawing anime feet from the bottom view is very similar to drawing them from the top view . One thing you may want to keep in mind when drawing feet from the bottom view is that it will most often mean that the feet are not standing on a surface . This means that the small toes may curve slightly more downwards and appear a little shorter.

Anime and manga are popular Japanese forms of animation and comics that have a very distinctive art style. If you want to draw your favorite character or design one on your own, start by designing their head and face so you can sketch what they look like. When you first start the head, draw the outline and the basic shapes so you can properly place the features. Once you add the eyes, nose, ears, and mouth, you can erase your guidelines and sketch in a hairstyle. With a bit of practice and patience, youll be able to design anime faces in no time!

Draw Feet From Top To Bottom

If you are new to drawing, practice with drawing a top-down view because you can see almost the whole foot.
As mentioned above, start by sketching the general shape of the foot. The legs will get bigger towards the toes, the heel will be smaller. Bigger toes at the head, getting smaller and lower.
Pay attention to the scale to make sure the toes are drawn to the right size. The big toe will be the largest, almost doubling the remaining toes.

Consistency Between Different Views When Drawing
Remember to keep the proportions of the foot the same between different positions.
It is also very important to stay consistent between different views of the same object. For example if the foot you are drawing is at a certain angle when shown in one scene of a manga you want to keep that the same when showing the same foot from a different view in a another scene .

One Break Down The Foot Into Three Simple Parts
Break up the heal into a separate section, it steps out from the leg as it descends down. Breaking it up into a separate section will help remember to watch out for the change in angle.
Takes pictures of your foot or look in the mirror, the heel does not continue straight down from the leg, it extends out. This is an important feature to get right and will help you draw more believable looking feet.
Why break the foot up in three parts for drawing? This divides the foot into movable sections with various shapes as the foot moves and twists.
Lets focus on understanding and representing the shape of the foot correctly when drawing. To do that, we break the shape down into simple smaller parts so it is easier to analyze. We can then focus on the shape of each part before drawing in the details of the form.

Three Draw In The Bony Pointy Bits On Each Side
The bony bits that stick out on each side of the foot are the base of the tibia and the fibula of the leg. They are important landmarks, find their placement and indicate them on the simplified geometric drawing that you made in step 1.
On the inside of the foot , it is the pointy base of the tibia that sticks out, and on the outside of the foot , it is the pointy base of the fibula bone. Fibulas pointy bit is lowerthan the tibias, so draw it in that way.
A good way to remember which bony bit is lower is to remember that when the feet are brought together in a normal standing position, a line drawn through the bony bits creates a roof. So the bone on the outside the fibula , is always lower than the bone on the inside, tibia. .
Youre Not Too Cool For Guides

I know if you feel that youre a great artist, that you may be able to skip valuable guidelines completely, but youre wrong! Using guides are extremely helpful, and they are there for a reason.
Use them, learn them, live them.
These guides are made especially for you, so use them to the best of your ability. Dont think that youre too cool to skip out on guidelines, as blatantly ignoring them could actually end up hurting you in the long run.
These vary, but a good rule of thumb is to have this be the primer for starting an anime character. There are similar rules of thumb for drawing the standard anime facial structure and features, but lets diverge from that for a bit and examine some basics when it comes to anime poses and drawing techniques.

Drawing Anime Feet From Front View
When drawing the foot in the front view its important to note that all of the toes combined are not as wide as the actual foot. This is one common mistake many people seem to make when drawing in this view.
To help you get the proportions you can draw some lines to indicate the width of each toe. Do this before drawing the details.
Draw The Outline Of The Shoes

Around/on top of the shape of the feet draw the outlines of the shoes with their largest and most important details.
Running shoes often have soft padding through them and thus tend to be somewhat thicker than other shoe types. For this reason you should draw their outline shape some distance away from the foot.
Erase the part of the foot covered by the shoes so that you have a clean drawing like the one in the above example.

Now for the body parts.
Starting at the head: make a circle with a triangle at the bottom once again.
For the torso: make a square, followed by sausages for the arms. The shapes of the hands will depend on your desired silhouette. In this drawing, we only have three sausages because a part of an arm is not going to be shown.
Make two circles for the buns, and sausages for legs, followed by shapes for the feet. Similar to the arms part: we are going to have only three sausages for the legs.
Dont forget to mark the main joints to help you with movement and anatomy: shoulders, elbows, and knees.
Your sketch is finished. Now for the Lineart, try to follow all the main lines. Add ones if necessary and also try to give dimension.
After youve finished, erase your sketch. Add details such as bone structures and shadows for better results.

Tips On How To Draw Feet
First of all, let’s draw the shape of the feet.
I found it more difficult to draw front-facing feet than any other ones.
So I’m redrawing them many times to get the balance right.
It may be easier to draw if you divide the front-facing feet into 3 blocks:
As a point when you draw the front and back of the feet, the ankles are low on the outside.
Give the outer and inner ankles a slight bulge and tilt them.
When drawing the sole of the feet, make sure that the sole is soft and that you are aware of the ground area.
When drawing sideways feet, be aware of the curve.
Also, when drawing the feet with bent toes, you can draw it neatly if you are aware of the angle.
The feet are parts with little change, but you can draw the dynamic feet by moving the toes to make a change.
Also, by changing the appearance of the toenails, you can make them more realistic.
If you want to show a lot of toes with sideways feet, you can make the feet more dynamic by showing the soles a little.
