Say " I Love You"

For anybody who was in a committed relationship in high school, Say I Love You is as relatable as an anime can be. There arent many shoujo masterpieces like this, but when you find one, you know youve found something special.

Most anime these days are set in high school, but Say I Love You is like a breath of new air in this genre, taking you on a trip through an already known plot. Because of its unusual cheerful surroundings, you feel joy and sorrow at the same time. In contrast to the majority of other romantic anime, this one focuses only on drama and romance.

Shoujo-style sets and backdrops are used throughout the shows narrative. There will be typical moments between the main characters and their love story, so dont be shocked. Its easy to see where the tale is going just by watching the pilot episode. Every scenario that might possibly occur in a high school relationship will be shown in some form.

Of course, it isnt the clichés themselves that elevate an anime to a work of art rather, it is how they are performed in a manner that is both sympathetic and ultimately leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy inside. When two teenagers are together, they realise who they are, and they also discover a road to self-fulfillment for themselves as people as a result.

Is It Worth Watching

Say I Love you is definitely worth watching. The show conveys all the basic elements for a good romance anime love, friendship, and the journey of self-discovery.

The protagonists and supporting characters balance each other out perfectly. The animation is pretty smooth as well.

A panoramic perspective of Mei standing in front of a beautifully sketched gathering of clouds makes her isolation feel much more real to the viewers.

If you want to watch a sincerely sweet romance without too much drama, then this is the show for you.

Cross-media shjo manga

In the 2000s, publishers who produced manga aimed at a female audience faced a changing market: josei manga had declined in popularity, girls increasingly preferred over printed of entertainment, and the manga market generally had slowed. Many major publishers restructured their shjo manga magazine operations in response, folding certain magazines and launching new publications. The majority of the newly-launched magazines during this period were commercial failures.

In 2008, the publishing house , which had previously not published manga, entered the manga market with the shjo manga magazine Malika. The magazine was unconventional compared to other shjo manga magazines of the era: in addition to publishing manga by renowned female authors, it featured contributions from celebrities in media, illustration, and design the magazine also operated a website that published music and additional stories. The magazine was a commercial failure and folded after six issues, but came to be emblematic of a new trend in shjo manga: , where works are published across multiple mediums simultaneously.

Early shjo manga successes in this cross-media approach include by , by , and by , all of which were alternately adapted into films, television dramas, anime series, video games, and series-branded music CDs. Older manga series, such as Attack No. 1 and , found renewed success after being relaunched with cross-media adaptations.

Shjo shsetsu nevertheless played an important role in establishing a shjo culture, and laid the foundations for what would become the major recurrent themes of shjo manga through their focus on stories of love and friendship. Among the most significant authors of this era was , a major figure in the genre whose novels such as Hana Monogatari centered on between girls and women. Release Date Of Say I Love You Season 2

Season 1 of Say I Love You premiered on October 7, 2012, and concluded on December 12 of the same year. On July 24, 2013, a one-episode OVA was shown as a follow-up.

Since then, the program has grown in popularity, and many of its devotees have been calling for a second season. Compared to manga, the anime only covers a few volumes of the mangas current output. This implies that the anime still has a tonne of material to draw on.

Season 2 looked likely a few years ago, but now that the show has been out for over seven years and we havent heard anything from the studio about it, Im beginning to worry whether well ever see another season.

Although it is still early, it seems as if Say I Love You may end up being a one-season flop. Even if the program is resurrected, we will keep you updated on the Say I Love You season 2 release date as soon as we learn of it.
