While it is not commonly used in Japanese speech in person, it is often used in anime.
In anime, the word shounen is used to refer to the target audience of these programs. In English, the genre could be described as young adult, but specifically focused toward young men. The target audience of shounen anime is between ages 12 and 18. Many of these anime and manga are focused on action, fighting and adventure. However, in recent years, series focused around comedy and series with female protagonists have become more and more popular and common.

The animes story is very interesting. The mysterious vibe, in the beginning, grabs your attention from the very beginning. And, this anime, unlike other shorter animes, really includes various details and plot twists in each episode, even though it is so short.
The character designs are unique and distinct, and overall the characters are very enjoyable.

Orenchi No Furo Jijou
Yet another anime with handsome boys making their way to our list for our Jousei’s!
This time, in the form of a merman! Orenchi no Furo Jijou is a 13 episode TV anime that aired back in 2014.
It is an anime adaptation of a manga series. The manga was written and illustrated by Itokichi.
The series talks about Tatsumi who helped a faint man near the lake. He takes him to his home in order to help him out.
However, they soon realize the problem here. Turns out that the man is a Merman and now he will be visiting Tatsumi regularly.
Moreover, he would bring friends at times, and soon, Tatsumi starts to appreciate their presence.
Filled with fun and wet boys, this anime is one of the finest works if you were to look for some good merman series.

Although Chizuru will develop a deep relationship with all of the Shinsengumi members and Toshiz Hijikata in particular, the main focus of Hakuki is the war the Shinsengumi have to fight not only against western troops but also against a clan of demons that seems to be related to Chizuru in some way. Shonen anime is meant for younger boys, such as middle schoolers. Meanwhile, Seinen anime is meant for older viewers, such as college-aged guys, and popular titles include Elfen Lied, Attack on Titan, and Tokyo Ghoul, among others. We love all anime, but it’s worth pointing out what sets Shonen and Seinen apart.

Main Focus On Plot And Character Development
Although realistic portrayals of relationships are an important feature of josei, they are not the only thing. Relationships can be formed between two or more characters.
This creates a series of events that weave together to tell a complex story where characters experience many kinds of emotion. Emotions are what allow us to become adults.
They teach us about lifes hardships and make us more compact people. This is evident in Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju. However, earlier josei works only represented womens sexual lives.
The josei genre has evolved from its traditional elements to focus more on the characters and their inner worlds, as well as their hopes and fears. It also explores how their priorities change according to the events.
The environment around the characters has a huge impact on how they grow up and think. Characters are shaped by events and adapt to their surroundings.
It is difficult to make the decision that Chizuru Yukimura, Shinsengumi members and Hakuoki must take in Hakuoki, one of the most beloved josei in recent times.

Some people find it tiring to have to keep learning new words in Japanese like this, since in English we typically keep the noun the same and then just tack on a different adjective, but I think that this aspect of the Japanese language is one of the things that makes it really cool to learn.
