Make Light Line Drawings First
Draw using light lines first and then trace over them with darker lines once you are sure that everything is in the right place. This be especially helpful for large or more complex drawings.
Light lines are easier to erase if you make a mistake and easier to make .
Even if drawing digitally its still a good idea to first make a sketch and go over it with cleaner lines afterwards.
Tracing your own lines will also work as another exercise to help steady your hand.
Try and draw with as few lines as possible. If you make a mistake with your first line its fine to add more lines until you land the correct one but dont scribble or draw extra lines just for the sake of it. If you make too many mistakes erase that part of your drawing start over.

Draw Manga Faces For Expressive Characters: Learn To Draw More Than 900 Faces By Hosoi Aya
Facial expressions are critical for good manga art. The style can be highly expressive, but its surprisingly hard to use simple lines to convey what a character is feeling properly. This book can help you understand how to do that.
It provides over 900 sample illustrations for a variety of expressions and types of characters. This is not the best starting point for a beginner, but it is a great reference book to keep on hand, even for an experienced manga artist.
Add The Facial Features
Draw two circles on the center guideline but leave a small opening at the bottom of each; these will be your eyes. When youre drawing anime, the eyes are one of the most important features and are usually much bigger than the other facial features. Sketch in an arch over the top of each circle and a curved line around the far side of each to frame the eyes.
From here you can also add in a small V shape on the center guideline for the nose, a slightly curved line for a smiling mouth, and a couple of short and light pencil strokes underneath the eyes for a blushing effect.
Adding the facial features starts to bring your character to life.

Many expressions of the mouth in anime are often interchangeable with others. As an example, above are screaming and angry drawings of a mouth as well at mouths showing exertion. It is often hard to pinpoint the expression exactly without other cues or other facial features for context. While this could seem confusing, it actually works well for the artist.
We only need to learn so many expressions to be able to draw them all. Learn to draw the ones above and you can then draw an anime character expressing anger, or one exerting physical force. You will notice, however, that the difference between those two expressions is likely to be shown in other facial features.
There are some similarities we need to be aware of.
Notice how the majority of these have rounded corners and a line indicating a break between the teeth.
Notice also that the line indicating the separation of the upper and lower teeth is zig-zagged. This type of line indicates some overlap of the jaw when the teeth are clenched together.
