Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba Synopsis:
Ever since the death of his father, the burden of supporting the family has fallen upon Tanjirou Kamados shoulders. Though living impoverished on a remote mountain, the Kamado family are able to enjoy a relatively peaceful and happy life. One day, Tanjirou decides to go down to the local village to make a little money selling charcoal. On his way back, night falls, forcing Tanjirou to take shelter in the house of a strange man, who warns him of the existence of flesh-eating demons that lurk in the woods at night.
When he finally arrives back home the next day, he is met with a horrifying sighthis whole family has been slaughtered. Worse still, the sole survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a bloodthirsty demon. Consumed by rage and hatred, Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and stay by his only remaining sibling. Alongside the mysterious group calling themselves the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjirou will do whatever it takes to slay the demons and protect the remnants of his beloved sisters humanity.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Story: Do You Need To Watch Mugen Train
The Demon Slayer season 2 story will adapt the Entertainment District arc of the manga starting from December. In the source material that takes place after Mugen Train. In a surprise move, however, there’s going to be a seven-episode recap with new material to catch fans up on Mugen Train in case they missed it the first time round. So you either need to watch the movie or the seven-episode recap, beginning in October. Or both, for completion’s sake. Your call.
So, what can we expect from the story? Without diving too much into specific movie spoilers, the first season ended with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke summoned to their first major assignment as part of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Rengoku, a member of the Hashira is tasked with accompanying the trio and with Tanjiros sister-turned-demon Nezuko in tow. The events of the movie surround Tanjiro and companys attempts to take down the Lower One of the Twelve Moons, the demonic group led by original demon and slayer of Tanjiros family Muzan Kibutsuji.
After the dramatic events of Mugen Train, and the end of the Infinity Train saga, Tanjiro, the Hashira, and the Demon Slayer Corps will have to deal with the fallout of the movie, but also the emergence of dangerous new foes.

Originally a series of manga books by Reki Kawahara that tells the story of a virtual reality game titled Sword Art Online, in which the players get stuck and cannot leave until they complete it and failure leads to death in reality.
The manga first received an anime adaptation in 2012. AO had some very good parts especially the first season. Overall the concept was a bit too general and repetitive. Its the show that most anime fans love to hate.

Final Chapter Drops With Creators Message
Sadly, it appears that there are just a few stories left to tell about Tanjiros journey. This is because the manga of the widely popular series has officially ended. Creator Koyoharu Gotouge brought Tanjiros journey to an end this week as her series dropped its final chapter.
Alongside the finale was the creators message which thanked everyone who has supported Demon Slayer. In the most recent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, Koyoharu wrote,
Thank you so much! I wish happiness from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported me.

The Ending Of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Is Hopeful
Kanata and Sumihiko Kamado are the first to be introduced, and it’s clear by their appearance that they are Kanao and Tanjiro, respectively. Kanata tries to get his brother out of bed for school, but the lazy Sumihiko continues to sleep. Kanata later meets up with Yoshiteru and Toko, the great-grandchildren of Zenitsu and Nezuko, and the three walk to school together. Just about every panel of this chapter contains some sort of nod to other character’s reincarnations, with former Hashiras Uzui, Kanae, Shinobu, Himejima, Tokito, Iguro and Kanroji all making cameos during the trio’s journey to school.
Uzui has just won a gold medal for Japan in gymnastics, honoring his lineage as a shinobi, but apparently, he’s got a bad-boy attitude. Kanae and Shinobu attend Sekirei Women’s Academy, Himejima is a kindergarten teacher and Tokito is seen along with his twin as two babies in a stroller. As Toko and Kanata discuss what to do after school, they mention visiting a diner run by Iguro and Kanroji, meaning the two got their wish of being together in another life.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was a story steeped in the pain and loss suffered by its characters during their journey to make the world a safer place. While nailing a unanimously loved ending is difficult for any series to do, Demon Slayer’s hopeful conclusion is a testament to the sacrifices made for a brighter future.

Another side note is the fact that a new Demon Slayer fighting game is being released on October 15, which is made by CyberConnect2, and has animation extremely faithful to the original series. Thats coming out on all consoles, including PS5 and Xbox Series X, and PC, and is a full $60 title.
Demon Slayer is a unique success in anime, breaking boundaries into film and into the west like few other titles before it. There is plenty of manga left to adapt, so I would expect to see it around for a good long while. And with fewer delays due to COVID, we will probably see future seasons take less time to arrive than the eternal wait weve had for season 2 here. Technically, Funimation is counting the 7 episode Mugen Train arc as part of season 2 going forward here, but the never-before seen stuff will begin in December once that has wrapped.

Who Is Involved In Demon Slayer Season 2
The starring voice actors in the first season have been confirmed to reprise their roles in the sequel. This includes the series demon slayer protagonists: Natsuki Hanae as Tanjirou, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as the fiery Inosuke. Tengen Uzui, the arcs leading Hashira, will be voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi of Fairy Tail and Jojos Bizarre Adventure fame. Haruo Sotozaki will also return as director.
Animation studio Ufotable will also work on the second season of Demon Slayer. The studio, which was previously known for the Fate series, was responsible for the shows impeccably animated fight sequences that won acclaim and social media buzz: the climactic battle in its notable 19th episode, for instance, became a trending topic on social media during Demon Slayers initial run.
The music composers for Demon Slayers new season have also been confirmed. Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina , who co-scored Demon Slayers first season and Mugen Train, will be returning.

You can watch the first Demon Slayer season 2 trailer now. Detailing the Demon Slayer Corps excursion to the entertainment district in Yoshiwara, Inosuke is seen charging away in one scene, while there is a special focus on the Sound Hashira. Expect him to tag along and mentor the fledgling trio of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu in much the same way Rengoku did during Mugen Train.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot
So far, the anime adaptation of Demon Slayer has covered volumes 1 to 6. The movie covered the whole volume 7 and almost the whole volume 8. As a result, volume 9 continues where the anime ends. So, if you cant wait for Demon Slayer Season 2 to be out, you may start reading volume 9 now, but you should read volume 8 as well.
In Japan, there are 23 volumes of Demon Slayer released. Demon Slayers manga is already finished in 2021. That means the story is completed. Demon Slayer Season 2 will take the story forward and its expected to cover the ending of manga volumes 8 and 9 to 11 also known as the red-light district.
So three more volumes of Demon Slayer will be adapted into anime by studio Ufotable. It will take two more two-cour seasons after that to adapt everything from the Demon Slayer franchise that is available. Season 3 of Demon Slayer will happen, so no worries there. Wait For The Anime: Demon Slayer Movie Coming Out In 2020
What’s that now? DemonSlayer movie is supposedly coming out in 2020. Immediately after Season 1 aired, a sequel film was announced, scheduled to air in 2020. With the pace of the first trailer, the movie should be at fingertips for watching purposes soon.
The movie, by the by, is named Infinity Train. It is on track for release in Japan in the coming year, a specific release date is not given. Hence, movie over the manga.

How Is The Mugen Train Movie Connected
Demon Slayers Entertainment District Arc is set to be the animes second season, but it wont be something that can just be watched immediately after season ones finale without a level of confusion. Demon Slayers first movie, Mugen Train, actually bridges the gap between the first and second seasons and covers a pivotal story arc before the characters arrive at the red light district. Some anime movies operate outside of canon and arent mandatory viewing, but in this case Mugen Train is basically Demon Slayer season 1.5 and its a proper companion piece to these new episodes.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date
Demon Slayer season 2 will premiere on October 10th 2021 by re-adapting the Mugen Train movie, before the new content in The Entertainment District Arc is set to release on December 5th.
During the Demon Slayer Matsuri Online -Anime 2nd Anniversary Festival, it was confirmed that season 2 of the hit anime would return in 2021. It was then revealed that Demon Slayer season 2 would premiere on the broadcasting slate Fall and also run through to the Winter slate.
However, there is a twist to the Demon Slayer season 2 broadcast, with the first seven episodes in season 2 being a re-adaptation of the Mugen Train movie, starting on October 10th.
The first of these seven episodes will consist of original content, focusing on Rengoku as he travels towards the Mugen Train. However, the remaining six episodes will then be a reboot of the 2020 feature film.
The Entertainment District Arc, i.e. the events following from Mugen Train, will then premiere on December 5th, 2021 with a special one-hour broadcast.
New episodes will air on Fuji TV in Japan at 11: 15 PM every Sunday, but an international release time has not been confirmed.

Demon Slayer prides itself on being a melancholic tale about humans and demons. In the Taisho period in Japan, Tanjiro, a benevolent boy and a charcoal seller by profession, loses his parents to a Demon. Next, you know, his sister Nezuko is turned into a Demon. This family ordeal, the hunger for vengeance and for saving his sister, thus pushes Tanjiro’s resolve to become a Demon Slayer himself. Interesting, right?
