Minato Sahashi is in quite a bad situation. Even though hes extremely intelligent, he failed his college exam twice due to his inability to deal with pressure. On top of that, the little apartment hes living in is also not the best place to be. Also, as if things wouldnt already be bad enough for him, hes thrown into a fight between some girls with supernatural powers and gets dragged along with it, almost losing his life multiple times.
As it turns out, the three girls Minato encounters are not the only ones which such abilities. In fact, there are 108 of them, all of which are living in the same city, playing a game in which only one of them will survive in the end.
Well, the story does sound interesting, and despite the fact that there are already a ton of other anime in which people end up in a game of life and death, the setting of Sekirei feels quite interesting. It actually reminded me a bit of Mai-HiME, even though it lacks quite a few qualities of that specific show.
The further I got into the story, the more I wanted to see how it continues. It really felt like Sekirei started out as just a very ecchi anime about girls with superpowers fighting each other, but as it turns out, this also has a more or less serious plot as well. And even though its flaws are obvious, its still interesting.

Most ecchi anime work on the supernatural or fantasy theme. I guess thats a fetish of some sorts. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry follows the same trend too. It is an ecchi anime with fantasy and magic theme. The plot is generic and stereotypical and so are the characters but still the implementation is much better than many anime in this genre. The art and animation are decent and the music is good. There are a total of 12 episodes in this anime with each episode being about 23 minutes in length. The anime has been fairly popular among ecchi genre fans and has been adapted from a light novel.
It is set in a world where some humans are different and have special abilities. They can manipulate their souls and form powerful weapons. The people who have this special ability are known as Blazers and undergo special training. The special training is provided by a prestigious academy named Hagun Academy. Ikki Kurogane is the protagonist of this anime series. He is a dolt and failure at being able to manipulate his soul into a weapon. He is the only student at the academy who has an F-rank. One day he ends up seeing Stella Vermillion naked. Stella is the princess of the Vermillion Kingdom. She is also an A-rank student. She gets angry at Ikki and challenges him to a fight. Better Than It Should Have Been: Tenchi Muyo Is A Solid Comedy With Great Character Exploration
Tenchi Muyo is one of the earliest harems, and by comparison, its also one of the tamest. The series that would come later lean far more into ecchi, while Tenchi Muyo has comparatively normal women.
The series also doesnt constantly focus on the girls hitting on Tenchi, and certainly doesnt have the girls beating up Tenchi because one of the other girls likes him. Instead, it focuses on slice-of-life elements with the occasional sci-fi action and political intrigue to shake things up.

Just Bad: Maij De Watashi No Koi Is A Confusing Mess Of A Show
MajiKoi has one of the most bonkers opening episodes in anime history. Its literally just one long fight scene between characters only fans of their light novel universe would recognize. Its confusing but ambitious. And the series never gets that interesting again.

Instead, it focuses on Yamato and the Kazama Family as they get into wacky hijinx at their high school. This show actually wouldnt be terrible if the first episode wasnt so much fun, making the rest of the anime such a letdown.

Sekirei is better than it has any right to be. It should be a very basic harem show, but instead, it adds in a lot of battle elements that elevate the series. The protagonist is a young teenager who happens to have multiple special beings with incredible powersknown as Sekireiaround him.

Chivalry Of A Failed Knight
This surprised me as well. The subbed version got a lot of praise and that intrigued me to watch it and I really liked this show. You will be shocked at how good this anime is. The anime is as smooth as butter and will be finished before you even know it. It is good anime with lots of actions and a satisfying ending.

The only reason I decided to include Highschool of the Dead is that I found it quite entertaining. Mind you it is nowhere close to some great ecchi anime like Shokugeki no Soma but it is entertaining nonetheless. It is an erotic zombie apocalypse anime with lots of fanservice. There are some steamy hot scenes in this anime. It does not plan to intrigue the viewers with a complex and interesting plot or relatable characters but rather let them enjoy a sexy little zombie apocalypse anime. So, if you are a fan of the genre then you might enjoy it.
The plot starts with the world suddenly amid a zombie apocalypse. People start turning into the undead. The entire social structure is experiencing a great demise as humans start feeding on each other. Takashi Kimuro is the protagonist of this anime. His friend, unfortunately, turns into a zombie. Takashi takes the harsh decision and kills his friend before he can harm anyone. He promises to protect the girlfriend of his friend. As they navigate through their school campus they meet a bunch of other students and a school nurse. All of them are trying to escape this predicament.
