Orange blends romance, mystery, and slice of life aesthetics, but it also taps into a darker energy that’s often present in Re:Zero. Both series begin in places where its easy to reduce the characters into stereotypes, yet Orange and Re:Zero strive for complexity.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero Proves That Heroes Come In Many Shapes & Sizes
Intrepid college student Naofumi Iwatani finds himself in a land named Melromarc, where he has become one of the Four Cardinal Heroes, whose job is to protect this land from varying obstacles.
As a Shield Hero, he is ridiculed by people for his weakness, and his reputation takes a bigger hit when he is accused of not taking advantage of a girl named Malty. The determined otaku makes it his mission to clear his name and earn the respect of the people around him.

Episode 1: Punishment And Confession
Zero Two and Hiro realize they knew each other as children. She catches him before he collapses and asks if he’s her darling from her childhood and is horrified thinking of what she had done. Ichigo suddenly interrupts them and throws her off of him and into Goro. He asks if she’s alright as Ichigo tries to revive Hiro. When they return to the docking facility, Hiro is taken for treatment. Zero Two realizes what Hiro meant when he said he wanted to understand her better.
Zero Two is banned from seeing Hiro
Hachi announced they must neutralize every klaxosaur inhabiting Gran Crevasse. Nana says that it is a joint operation with the 9’s and FRANXX squad from each plantation. He says that Squad 13 is scheduled to be part of the sixth wave. Nana says it will be their most difficult mission and Ichigo raises her hand. She asks that Zero Two is removed from Squad 13 as of that mission and, if not, Squad 13 will not participate in the operation. Nana says that she was set to return to the 9’s as of the mission anyway. Zero Two protests, but the parasites stop her from seeing him.
When Hiro gets up, he is stopped by Miku. Zero Two is also guarded and prevented from leaving her room. She tells him that Zero Two is returning to the 9’s the next night.

Zero Two leaves the plantation as the other parasites watch her leave silently, she passes by Hiro without saying anything.

Darling In The Franxx Season 2 Story Details
Given the way the first season ended, a potential Darling The Franxx season 2 would probably have to start fresh. The finale ended with Hiro and Zero Two sacrificing themselves to destroy the alien hive mind VIRM’s homeworld and the klaxosaurs retreating back into the Earth. The survivors help rebuild the planet but the VIRM vow to return someday to create another mess. Hiro and Zero Two are also reincarnated a thousand years in the future and they meet each other again.
If Darling In The Franxx season 2 does happen, it would either have to be a prequel following different characters or pick up with the reincarnations of Zero Two and Hiro as they face a new threat or the re-emergence of the klaxosaurs. Since the finale proved disappointing to some viewers there’s a chance Darling In The Franxx season 2 won’t happen, but the success of the show make a follow-up entirely possible.

How Is A Checkpoint Set
In another popular Isekai series – No Game No Life – The alternate world is a game, which has an end goal of playing a game with God. This seems to be the case with Re: Zero too. As the story, or witch’s plan, executes accordingly. Checkpoints will be created throughout his journey.
Until now, Rem going to sleep and losing her memory is creating checkpoints. This means that the Witch of Jealousy is still pulling the strings, and Subaru is her puppet. He needs to get the help of someone liberated from the system to break out of this loop.
Episode 1: Days Of Our Lives
A month passes and the squad is on standby for their next mission. In her room, Zero Two happily files her horns as she looks at herself using Naomi’s mirror.

Zero Two summons everyone else as it’s time for breakfast by hitting a frying pan with a ladle. Futoshi covers his ears and Kokoro tells Miku that she is on messenger duty. Zero Two finds Hiro and Mitsuru inspecting the water of a lake and tells them breakfast is ready. While everyone preps for breakfast, Ikuno enters and offers to help, but Ichigo says that it’s fine and asks if her fever went down. Zero Two places her forehead on Ikuno and says that she’s 36.7 degrees but tells her not to push herself.
They pray for Papa before they eat, though Zero Two eats anyway. She lists off the chores and Miku, smiling, notes that she’s meticulous. Ichigo also smiles and agrees.
Hiro and Zero Two walk together. Hiro says that Goro must have gotten child fever last week. Zero Two curiously looks at a plant. He explains that they’re sakura buds including that they’re a really pretty color, like her hair. She giggles and says she wants to see them. He asks how she felt about their lives and she says they’re having fun and would like to live like that forever. He scooches closer to her and is about to hold her hand, but she suddenly remembers that she was supposed to go bathing with the other pistils, telling him not to peek.

Hiro: He Was 15 In The Beginning & 17 When He Died
Hiros life began as a dejected 14-year-old who was unable to pass his tests for becoming a pilot. However, the appearance of the mysterious Zero Two changed everything and the more he involved himself with her, the riskier his life became.
Even so, he never gave up on the alien girl and it was only thanks to the sacrifice of these two brave souls that his friends were able to lead happy lives as adults.
Darling In The Franxx Season : Renewal Status
- At the time of writing, Darling in the Franxx has not been renewed for season 2 by either Trigger or CloverWorks animation studios.
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that the series will be renewed for a second instalment.
Whilst the anime did have excellent reviews and was watched by millions of people, the story did come to a digestible conclusion in the final episode.

Studio Trigger is also not known for making sequel seasons, nor has there any indication that they would even consider making DITF 2 despite our constant efforts on Twitter.

However, as Darling in the Franxx is a co-production between both Studio Trigger and CloverWorks, there is a higher chance that the series could be renewed by one studio if the other decided against it.
One thing is for sure, there is easily enough demand for another season of Darling in the Franxx. At the time of writing, the series is scoring 7.3/10 on both IMDB and My Anime List, with a score of 4.4/5 on Crunchyroll.

Edens Zero Season 2 Release Date Predictions
As of the last update, Kodansha, Aniplex, Studio J.C. Staff, or any company related to the production of the anime has not officially confirmed the EDENS ZERO Season 2 release date.
Nor has the production of an EDENS ZERO sequel been announced. To say that the adventure will continue is not an official confirmation that the anime sequel has been greenlit for production, although it seems likely that it will be renewed.
Once the news is officially confirmed this article will be updated with the relevant information.
In the meantime, its possible to speculate about when, or if, the EDENS ZERO Season 2 premiere date will occur in the future.
Its easy to say that the anime will be renewed for a second season given that the story is from the Fairy Tail creator. But the EDENS ZERO review scores have been oddly low even after the international Netflix premiere.
Maybe some fans are dismissing the new anime out of hand as Fairy Tail in space. Maybe its due to the anime having been in Netflix jail but the scores didnt pick up substantially in August 2021.
The real test was Netflixs streaming numbers since streaming revenue is the biggest factor for success in the modern anime industry. Based on the message from the staff it seems likely that the anime production committee will have EDENS ZERO renewed.
As such, its likely that the EDENS ZERO Season 2 release date was pushed back by at least months. Lets just hope the announcement is made later in Fall 2021.

Shiro and Sora are a brother-sister NEET duo that are excellent gamers. However, one day they are transported to a fantasy world called Disboard, where all conflicts are resolved through games. This turns out to be a piece of cake for the duo since they have played games for as long as they can remember.
Besides being a series that is in desperate need of a second season, this series still reigns supreme to isekai watchers as a 12-episode anime and a quick binge.
Episode 0: Alone And Lonesome
Zero Two is seen on the carrier flight with Dr. FRANXX and Nana. She says she wants to take a bath and asks if there is an ocean at Plantation 13. Nana says there is no such thing and asks if she can just take a shower. Zero Two replies she is in the mood for swim. She then licks her wrist and says she hates how she tastes. Upon landing, Zero Two runs off from the others and mocks them with a smirk and throws away her hat.
Zero Two is later spotted by Hiro skinny dipping in a lake near Miltisteinn. She disappears under the water’s surface, prompting Hiro to assume she is drowning and in need of rescue. Zero Two jumps out of the water with a live fish in her mouth. She spits out the fish and licks herself believing that she will taste “salty”, to her disappointment. Zero Two, in the nude, begins to converse with Hiro and thanks him for jumping in to save her. She then tackles him into the water and licks his cheek, remarking that he tastes “dangerous” and she loves it. His “taste”, coupled with the fact that he was not afraid of her horns prompts her to propose that he become her “Darling”. Before Hiro can accept, Nana and 081 arrive to retrieve her. Hiro calls for her, ad asks her for her name. Dismissively, she questions if parasites even have names. She tells him her code is 002, and that everyone calls her “Zero Two”.

Episode 1: The Beast And The Prince
Hiro connects deeply with the consciousness of Zero Two and catches a glimpse of memories that she retained but he forgot from their childhood. Hiro sees how Zero Two endured torturous experiments from Dr. FRANXX and received a picture book called The Beast and the Prince, which was her one source of comfort, from a caretaker. Zero Two and Hiro caught their first glimpse of each other when she was being dragged into the lab, where she experienced painful experiments if a laser blowing a hole through her hand. A caretaker tries to take her book from her but Zero Two fought back until the woman gave up.
After suffering from electroshock treatment, Hiro helped her escape by breaking the window in her room and Zero Two notes that was her first time experiencing the outside world and the environment confused her, as it was different. She tried eating a mouse and impulsively bit Hiros hand when he tried to stop her but he soon realized she didnt understand what he was saying. He tried thinking of a name for her his first choice was Oni but then thought of Zero Two, although he said it wasnt good either. She tried pronouncing Zero Two but couldnt because of her speech impairment. Hiro then suggested they go somewhere far away.
Edens Zero 2 Anime Spoilers

Shiki and his crew have arrived at the planet Sun Jewel in search of the Shining Star, Valkyrie. Upon landing, they encounter a seemingly peaceful place, but Shiki and Homura learn first-hand that its due to the tyrannical reign of Madame Kurenai.
Shiki and Homura are forced to to mine metal from alien monsters called Stones as punishment for thwarting the casino robbery attempt. After they reunited with Rebeccas group and defeat a giant Stone, a B-Cube recording reveals that Valkyrie left in search of Homuras long-lost mother.
Unfortunately, the reunion with Homuras beloved mentor doesnt go as planned and she learns a terrible fact about her mother, Madame Kurenai. Worse, the tyrannical leader of Sun Jewel plans to destroy the area with Satellite Blaze.
A revolt begins against Madame Kurenai begins but the rebels find themselves outnumbered by the powerful warriors at her command. Its time for a new hero to arise using a new armored suit: The Arsenal.
Unfortunately, anime fans will have to wait until the EDENS ZERO Season 2 release date to watch what happens next. Stay tuned!
