Jinora From The Legend Of Korra
Quietly reserved and insightful, Jinora displays a great amount of courage and conviction. As an airbending master, she has a natural affinity for the spiritual world and is one of the only humans capable of communicating with spirits. Her natural insight into the spiritual world and human nature as a whole exemplifies an INFJ at their best. She is an excellent example of the INFJ counselor or mentor. Calm, patient, and wise about people she knows how to guide people into the spirit world and sense their unique energies.
Itachi Uchiha From Naruto Shippuden
If youve just started watching Naruto Shippuden you might be surprised at this typing of Itachi Uchiha. After all, in early episodes, he shows very little use of Extraverted Feeling . But as the show progresses and you learn more about Itachis backstory, you realize that he used Fe almost constantly when he was younger. Through various traumas, he eventually shut off that side of himself and appears to be in a Ni-Ti loop. However, his Fe still shows up in how he constantly prioritizes being useful to others and elevating the greater good over his own good. As an INFJ he frequently ponders the meaning of life, death, and various patterns and potential outcomes. Hes constantly focusing on where events will lead and latches onto symbolism as a way of expressing himself.
Some Of The Rules Of The Death Note Weren’t Explained
There were rules on how one could use the death note, but not all of them were present when it came to the anime series. During the manga, some of the rules had a lot more emphasis than what was shown in the manga. One of the rules stated that you couldnt manipulate a person into killing another person or a whole group of people. Just like a bomb or mass killing, that wasnt clearly explained in the anime but it was implied that it was a rule for using the powerful notebook. Each volume of the manga provided a rule from the book after the end of every chapter.

Death Note: Shinigami Gelus Rem And Ryuk
Throughout the show, a number of Shinigamis are presented. In particular, two events are remarkable: when a Shinigami a human sacrificing its own life. Its the case of Gelus and Rem who both decides to extend the life of Misa Amane. Rem, in fact, inherits not only the Death Note of Jealous but also its love for the girl. They both realize the value of human life and theyre ready to become ash to protect it.
Shinigami: Ryuk, Rem and Gelus.
On the other hand we have Ryuk who represent the Epicurean-like God: hes a Death God who does not care about human and his behavior introduces the Problem of Evil:
God either wants to eliminate bad things and cannot, or can but does not want to, or neither wishes to nor can, or both wants to and can. If he wants to and cannot, then he is weak and this does not apply to god. If he can but does not want to, then he is spiteful which is equally foreign to gods nature. If he neither wants to nor can, he is both weak and spiteful, and so not a god. If he wants to and can, which is the only thing fitting for a god, where then do bad things come from? Or why does he not eliminate them?

Overview Of The Four:

Introspective and quirky, Mei Misaki captures both the dark and light sides of the Four enneatype. While to her classmates she seems offbeat and even creepy, shes actually deeply sensitive and sentimental. While she puts on an apathetic outside persona, she has a compassionate inner self that she covers up in order to guard herself against the disdain of others. Mei is emotionally honest with people who have earned her trust and withholds herself from others for fear of being vulnerable or defective. Inspired and creative, like most Fours, Mei has a strong connection to artistic expression.
Other Enneagram Fours: Jiro , Akutagawa Ryunosuke , Lust
Ryuk Was Originally Supposed To Have A Human Appearance
Its hard to picture any of the Shinigami as human after seeing how monstrous all of them are, but apparently the original plan was for at least Ryuk to look somewhat more ordinary. He was going to be human in appearance, while also having wings. The Shinigami were also supposed to be attractive looking, and while theres bound to be someone out there who finds any character good looking, the majority of Death Note fans probably arent fantasizing about Ryuk in the final design he got.
The final product of the Shinigami are so hideous that most characters react by screaming or trying to kill the Shinigami when its first revealed to them. That honestly seems like a pretty logical reaction. Though its funny to think the attractiveness angle for the Shinigami was abandoned due to fears that they would overshadow the main characters. Light and L have no shortage of fans who are enamored by their looks, so its hard to imagine Ryuk with how he looks now being competition for that spotlight.

This Isnt Death Notes First Live
Followers of the manga or anime are probably already aware, but the American adaption of Death Note wont actually be the first live-action treatment the story has received. Death Note already had not one, but two live-action Japanese movies, as well as a more recent live-action TV series. But if you havent heard about any of these other adaptions and were thinking of checking them out, youre probably better off skipping them. Most fans of the original story are in agreement that while its an admirable effort to try and translate the story with real actors, that the Japanese adaptions didnt really hit the mark.
With the movies, they were made around the same time as the anime and had special effects that werent really up to par, giving viewers a cartoonish-looking CGI Ryuk to follow Light around in the story and distract from the serious tone the plot tries to achieve, whereas the Japanese TV series makes some significant deviations from the original plot that soured longtime fans on the short-lived adaption. The American adaption will no doubt have to make similar concessions in translating the story over to a Western audience, but hopefully theyre changes that make sense and lend to this being the first good live-action adaption of Death Note.

There Have Been Real Life Crimes Inspired By Death Note
Some fans will always take things too far, and express their enjoyment for dark subject matter in some unsettling ways. In addition to the incidents of school children being disciplined for creating their own Death Notes mentioned earlier, there has actually also been a crime involving murder that featured a connection to Death Note. It was a Belgian murder case from around a decade ago that involved a mutilated body, and in the vicinity of the remains were several notes that spelled out the phrase I am Kira.
Police initially feared the killing was the beginning of a serial murder spree, but it wound up being contained to just the one incident. The case took several years to solve, but eventually several suspects were apprehended and sentenced to prison for the crime. Obviously one death is nothing compared to what the Kira of Death Note winds up doing, and fictional stories cant be blamed for what crimes killers perpetrate, but its nonetheless pretty creepy to think people would actually experience the story of Death Note and view it as a form of inspiration for murder.
Lights Personality Was Somewhat Different In The Manga And Anime
Light came off as a typical straight-A high school student who wanted to change the world after finding the death note. His personality before obtaining this powerful book was very different as it was portrayed in both the manga and anime.
Light became more of a vindictive person in the anime series where he was full of hatred for his classmates every time he eavesdropped on their conversations. In the manga, he wasnt as malicious as he kept more to himself as a loner. However, he didnt hate what life has brought him, just bored with it.

What Is Death Note Type
Death Note Type is a game inspired by a Japanese story, in which a boy named Light Yagami discovered a notebook that he began to use differently from all people.Specifically, Yagami realized that the moment he typed the names of people in his notebook, these characters died. Once he noticed that this was happening repeatedly, the main character of these games thought of saving humanity from evil people, thieves who commit robberies, and acne from vandalism. In this sense, our superhero started looking in the city where he lives criminals, to find out their names and write them in the notebook. In Death Note Type, you will be able to simulate writing in this notebook the names that you consider bad, but this game is a pamphlet and nothing bad will happen in reality. This version of the game is the original, which is made in flash, which is currently emulated by Ruffle but does not work perfectly. In the future, we hope that we will be able to unlock all the functions of the game so that you can play the whole game.At the same time, you can try the HTML5 version of Death note type for mobile.
There’s A Prequel Novel About L
While people usually think of Ls struggles with Light when they think of Death Note, L actually had a previous encounter with a killer that helped prepare him for his hunt against Kira. In the novel Death Note: Another Note – The Los Angeles BB MurderCases, L is tasked with ending the killing spree of a man known as Beyond Birthday. BB was initially being considered to be a potential successor for L in case anything happened to him, just like Near and Mello are. But BB wound up showing the results of someone with a high level of intelligence like L electing to use his ability to hurt instead of help.
BB is referenced in the main story of Death Note, and even has ties to another character who appears in the manga and anime, Naomi Misora. Fans of the series probably remember that Naomi has a small role in the series, but is also one of the first true tests for Light and his secret identity as Kira. In the novel, Naomi is actually a central character in the hunt to catch Beyond Birthday.
While its unlikely the novel will be incorporated into the Netflix adaption, its still worth checking out to gain more insight into the backstory of some of the prominent characters from the manga and anime. It helps demonstrate exactly why L is viewed as the greatest detective in the world, and what made him so qualified to try and track down Kira.
Matsuda: Isfp The Adventurer
Matsuda, bless his heart, is a questionable police officer. Particularly at the beginning of the series, he tended to impede the investigation more than he helped it by being clumsy in his way of going about things. However, he improved as time went on, and no one could deny that he had good intentions. He was just a bit of rookie.
In heart, hes absolutely an ISFP. Hes an adventurer who means well, always ready to dive in and help out even if his methods arent as logically thought out as one of the more NTJ types. I just want to protect him, to be honest.
Death Note, sadly, is somewhat lacking in prominent female characters to type, but Kiyomi Takada is one of them aside from Misa. Shes Lights former girlfriend who also ends up as a spokesperson for Kira already making her sound like a pretty questionable personality. And she is. She very much believes in Kiras ideals, but shes also a very smart woman.
In a way, shes also very eager to help, though. Her methods may be questionable, but she truly believes shes helping to better the world with her beliefs and actions. This is what makes her a pretty textbook ESFJ.
Naomi Misora From Death Note
Naomi Misora is a former FBI agent who is famous for her strong investigative powers. Although she only has a small part in the Death Note series, her presence is still crucial. Misora has strong insights into other people in this case, Light Yagami. Her ability to see beneath the surface allows her to rival even L in her deductive abilities. Although Misora is highly intelligent, her strong feelings can sometimes get in the way of her investigations. Like most INFJs, she feels things deeply especially when it comes to the people she loves. Light Yagami knows this weakness and uses it to undermine her.

Kawora Nagisa From Neon Genesis Evangelion
Kawora is a more unusual choice for this article, partially because he is more angel than human. He also isnt featured for a very long time in the series. However, his demeanor is distinctly INFJ. He speaks in universal rather than personal terms and seems focused on understanding humanity and the various perspectives of others. He appears warm and emotionally open, making Shinji comfortable as a result. He is also fascinated by issues of human pain and loneliness and wants to understand the deeper feelings of others. His big-picture focus and curiosity about the psychology of others is a trademark INFJ characteristic.
