As for what to expect from Pokemon Go Fest 2020, theres a lot in store. There will be two special research stories over the weekend and one ticket will grant you access to both.
Both days of Pokemon Go Fest 2020 will feature rotating habitats, themed around fire, water, grass, battle, and friendship. The first three are somewhat self-explanatory, but battle and friendship are slightly more ambiguous. We do know that 75 unique Pokemon will feature in total however, likely meaning its 15 per habitat.
Throughout the entire event, there will also be a Global Challenge Arena. This is where trainers can join forces to work towards a goal for example, in the screenshot above, you can see players must send 100,000 gifts to friends. You can track how well youre doing compared to your friends and unlock a special reward at the end of each global challenge.
This arrives alongside a revamp of the Pokemon Go social aspect, which is being converted to a general Niantic Social hub. You can see which of your friends are online, along with their playing stats like distance walked. During Go Fest 2020 specifically, Niantic is aiming to recreate the atmosphere from the team lounges at the physical events with the virtual team lounges. This will be through a microsite and more details will be revealed later down the line.

Dragon Breath is a blessing to virtually anything that has it, and Gyarados is definitely no exception. It sports 4 DPT and 3 EPT , which makes it Gyarados objectively best quick move despite lacking stab.
Aqua Tail is an incredibly cheap move that can provide frequent shield pressure. Hydro Pump can threaten KOs when not shielded, but its high energy cost makes it a less consistent option. Crunch provides good overall coverage, decent damage, and a reasonable energy cost, while Outrage is very powerful at a fair cost. This set provides Gyarados with a powerful catch-all playstyle thats hard to come into, and is likely to deal meaningful damage even to Gyarados counters, while also allowing it to act on opposing dragons while not being hindered by a dragon weakness itself if packing Outrage.
You could also go for Bite, with 4 DPT and 2 EPT,making Gyarados an aggressive Dark attacker. It is worse against Giratina, however, and with it Gyarados becomes even slower. Waterfall is also not a bad move, and is better against Steel and Fairy Pokemon, but there are generally many superior Water-type attackers to choose from.

Things are mighty complicated with this new drop of Gen-4 creatures in Pokémon GO. Not only do we have some new semi-branching evolutions, weve got a whole new suite of lure modules that attract particular kinds of Pokémon as well as cause others to evolve. Weve already been over Leafon and Glaceon, but read on to find out how to evolve your Nosepass and Magneton into Probopass and Magnezone.
The method for evolving Probopass and Magnezone is the same as evolving Leafeon or Glaceon. First off, youll need a magnetic lure module.
