Seven Deadly Sins Is A Great First Anime For Newcomers

Another Netflix original anime is Seven Deadly Sins, a magical fantasy series that follows a formerly disgraced group of powerful magical warriors as they assist a princess in reclaiming her kingdom from tyranny. It might seem like a run-of-the-mill magical Shonen anime, which is true at times. Yet, it also keeps things interesting and exciting.

There are plenty of great fights and endearingly strange characters. Plus, the animation and designs of the series are brilliant. For those looking for an introduction to anime, Seven Deadly Sins is an excellent gateway that should ease most newcomers into the medium pretty well.

I Want To Eat Your Pancreas

Me, a high school student, discovered a paperback in the hospital one day. It was called the Disease Coexistence Journal. Sakura Yamauchi, Mes classmate, had kept a journal secret. It was stated within that her days were numbered owing to her pancreatic illness.

As a result, Me progressed from Just-a-Classmate to Secret-Knowing-Classmate. It was as though he was pulled to her, who was the polar opposite of him. However, the world delivered an equally terrible truth to the girl who was already afflicted.

Blue Exorcist Is About A Boy Who Wants To Get Rid Of Satan’s Curse

Perhaps the best way to describe Blue Exorcist is “Hellboy in high school.” This anime is one of the coolest that Netflix has to offer. It follows Rin Okumura and his brother Yukio, twins born from the devil. However, only Rin takes after their father.

Though he’s of demonic nature, Rin is determined to be an Exorcist, someone who fights the demons that plague society. While some might say that Blue Exorcist is a bit too close to the likes of Hellboy, the anime still takes viewers on an interesting and exciting ride that forges its own path and identity.

In one form or another Pokémon has aired in the U.S. since 1998. It started in syndication and has moved to The WB, Cartoon Network, and Disney XD over the years. In 2020, Netflix secured the American rights to all future series, thus removing them from legacy networks. The first of these is Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

How We Choose The Best Anime Series On Netflix

The goal is to have a list of great anime series that span many subgenres. We’ve included a mix of popular classics like Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist, along with relatively more obscure titles like Ouran High School Host Club and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. Whether you’re a complete anime newbie or a hardcore otaku, there’s something for everyone here.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan

Best anime on Netflix

A spinoff of JoJos Bizarre Adventure, this is fully the show of Kisibe Rohan, a narcissistic manga artist and side character of that series, who in this show works as a sort of Nick Carrawayesque narrator of supernatural and violent self-contained stories, pulled from his globe-trotting endeavors. Despite its title, it has little connection to Nietzsche its original Japanese title apparently translates, loosely, to Rohan Kishibe does not change, a true enough statement.Watch it if you love:Wuthering Heights The Great Gatsby

Code Geass Is One Of The Best Strategy Anime Ever

Considered by fans to be one of the best strategy anime of all time, Code Geass tells the story of Lelouch vi Britannia, the exiled prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. When Lelouch meets a strange woman named C.C. and inherits the power known as Geass, he assumes an alter ego called Zero and starts a rebellion to overthrow the current world order.

Code Geass covers themes including politics, morality, and rebelling against the previous generation. While it is a mecha anime with excellent large-scale battles, the plot focuses more on developing the characters. It’s full of twists and turns, and while there are great episodes of Code Geass, the series finale is easily one of the best anime episodes ever.

Soul Eater Is About Teenagers Who Become Weapons

Soul Eater is part Harry Potter, part Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Sure, that sounds like a weird combination, but it actually works well for the series. This supernatural anime follows Maka, a meister who reaps the souls of demons with the help of Soul Eater, her partner who can turn into a scythe.

Soul Eater is overall unique in both its creative premise and its art style. Though the anime was cut short resulting in a rushed, less-than-stellar and patched-together disappointment of an ending it is still a fun, cool, and stylish anime worth checking out.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Has Brothers Reclaiming Their Bodies

The best anime available on Netflix right now is easily Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. This series, as opposed to the original 2003 anime, closely adapts the theme of the original manga. It’s a contained, well-thought-out, compelling story that takes place in a creative and interesting world where alchemy is the main scientific pursuit.

The show is one of the best that Netflix has to offer, anime or otherwise, primarily due to its strong themes of family, morality, hubris, imperialism and, growing up. All of which are presented dramatically and supernaturally.

Whether You’re Into Dubbed Or Subbed These Are The Anime Series You Need To Watch

Little Witch Academia Focuses On A Girl With Few Magical Powers

Little Witch Academia is another example of a series where an underdog trains hard to become someone. Combining the magic of Harry Potter with the heroics of My Hero Academia, the anime follows Akko, a girl with very little magical aptitude who wants nothing more than to be a witch. Hence, she decides to attend Luna Nova Magical Academy to enhance her skills.

The series is a production of Studio Trigger, which is why it is so wonderfully animated. The classic anime themes of never giving up and showing your criticizers what you’re made of are present as well. However, they’re written in new and interesting ways as Akko challenges the old conventions of magic as she learns and grows.

Naruto / Naruto Shippuden

Since we already mentioned One Piece and Dragon Ball Z, leaving Naruto out would be insulting, and its that in many ways these three are the biggest and most popular shonen series out there, and for a good reason. They are easily the most iconic anime youll find out there, and while they may be a little over mentioned, its because they are just so good.

Naruto has some of the best fight scenes in anime, but it also has a good deal of very emotional and complex moments. It deals a lot with friendship and perseverance no matter the circumstance. Naruto Uzumaki has an incredible power within, but hell develop it much more with the help of his friends. And he is wise enough to understand that the best way to get stronger is by building friendships and trust.

Emotions, action, memorable moments, incredible music, Naruto has everything. Put this high on your list of best anime series on Netflix.

Netflix Top Anime / 25 Best Anime Series On Netflix Right ...

The main characters of this show are members of Tekkadan, a private security firm made up of young kids who are referred to as human debris throughout the series. When they happen upon a powerful weapon , they rise up against their masters and go into business for themselves. Iron-Blooded Orphans pulls no punches, down to the creepy blood-squelching sound effects used when the young soldiers jack in, Matrix-style, to their mecha.
