Q: Whats With The Huge Eyes In Anime
No, its not some inferiority complex, and not quite all anime has the big eye style. But, most of it does, and the fact of the matter is that no one is 100% sure why. However, the first person to use that style is usually credited as Osamu Tezuka, the creator of the old Astro Boy TV series among various other very popular TV shows that became the foundation for Japans entire animation and comic industry. As to where Tezuka got the idea, Fred Ladd, who worked with him, has said that he said he was emulating Betty Boop, who was popular in Japan at the time. Other early US-produced animated characters that predate the anime style also have very large eyes.
There’s Plenty Of Great New Anime To Watch
Coming off the back of a year riddled with delays and calendar reshuffling in literally every aspect of entertainment , the Winter 2021 anime season came storming out the gates, and spring and summer swiftly passed along the baton to make up for lost time. We were already excited about the continuation of series from last year, like the Crunchyroll Awards favoriteJujutsu Kaisen and the tail end of Attack on Titan‘s final season, but the new additions to the lineup of currently airing shows have been welcome, unexpected surprises. Do we really need to describe what Naruto is all about, or why it’s regarded as one of the greatest anime of all time? The story of Naruto, Sasuke, and all the other Shinobi around them. Honestly, throughout all three stories, there is such a large cast in Naruto they might as well be Pokemon. Sure, there were slow moments, and sure, the anime adaptation had a lot of filler. But, as an overall product, Naruto, Naruto: Shippuden, and now Boruto is sure to influence fans of the shonen genre for years to come.

A mysterious group kidnapped and brought Kenshi Masaki to the world of Geminar. He agrees to help them assassinate the newly crowned empress of the Shtrayu Empire, Lashara Aasu XXVIII with a giant robot called a Sacred Mechanoid so that they may send him back home.
Lashara takes note of Kenshis abilities while her army was fighting with the group. She demands that her attacker be caught alive only to find out that the pilot is a male, extremely rare on Geminar. She makes Kenshi her attendant for it would be waste to kill him.
Kenshi is now required to accompany Lashara to the Holy Land, an academy where Sacred Mechanoid pilots sharpen their skills. Kenshi became centre of attention, but he is unaware that something wicked is steeping within the academy, leading the whole world into war.

Children Of The Whales
Children of the Whales plays with the idea of a postapocalyptic world racked by ecological disaster, this time as a global desert instead of an ocean. A pocket of survivors now lives on a giant floating city called the Mud Whale, and a majority of them developed psychokinetic abilities. Its 12 episodes explore what happens when the Mud Whale encounters another island with very different beliefs, and the conflict that follows. And while thats all interesting, its stylized animation, watercolorlike backgrounds, and slow pace put the show in a class of its own.Watch it if you love: Dune, Mortal Engines
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba
The advent of a shockingly quality anime surprised anime fans all over the world in 2019. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is adapted into an anime from the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, which was serialized on the Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016. The first season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba with 26 episodes was welcomed by both fans of the manga and people who had not read it.
The anime is set in the Taisho period in Japan where demons exist with human beings. The main character Tanjiro Kamado finds his family is killed by the attack of demons and only his sister Nezuko is changed into a demon. He decides to become a demon slayer to restore her to a human.
This anime includes every important part for an excellent anime from the main characters purity and growing to friends with the spirit of brotherhood and respect for any characters. The battle scenes between demon slayers with swords and unique demon characters are intense, which is beautifully drawn. Each characters past and background including even demons is respectfully depicted in this anime.
It is followed by the sequel story Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train released in October, 2020. This anime has not completed yet, but it is safe to say that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will grow to represent the best anime in Japan and around the world.

Junkos distrust for him keeps growing too. Although he tries his best to disprove the prediction, everything he does only seem to reinforce his destiny to be the Demon King.
Akuto Sais badass behavior is entertaining, and the anime has a lot of ecchi and comedy moments. A harem of girls cannot stop giving him attention. Some to shower lover over him and while others want to bring him to justice. Watch this anime to find out how Akuto is dealing with his situation.

Okay, I know the title seems a bit wrong, and honestly even when I give you the synopsis it will seem a bit odd but you just have to believe me that the show knows what its doing.
Basically, our male protagonist really wants a cat. But since he cant just make any place his kittys home, he has to move to Sakurasou.
But in Sakurasou, all the oddballs also find their refuge. Most regarding quirks and such, alongside a girl who cant seem to take care of herself.
The duty then falls on our MC to help this fair maiden out, while sparks fly as per usual.
Again, give it a watch. Its not as smutty as it sounds, not in the slightest.

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
For many years, Studio Deen was the target of many jokes because of how it handled a few anime titles then Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu arrived in 2016.
Somehow, the studio gave it their all not for a shounen or harem show, but for a drama josei set in early 20th century Japan. Particularly about the art of rakugo and the people who strive to preserve it while facing their own personal troubles.
This soundtrack is pristine in its blend of orchestral and jazz pieces. These display the rich, colored history the beloved MCs lived in as they went from the countryside to cities to showcase their talents, learning to continue their art even with the drastic sociopolitical and cultural shifts over the years.
The relatively young composer and pianist Kana Shibue should be very proud of her work here. Perhaps her magnum opus.

Highschool Of The Dead

The anime centers around high school students leading the resistance against a zombie break out. The series starts with Takashi Kimuro trying to protect his crush, Rei Miyamoto. Although he saves her, he ends up killing her boyfriend. The zombies begin to cause a total break down of society. A bunch of students, teachers, and staff make it out alive from the school only to be greeted by more danger.
The series is enjoyable with the harem and ecchi scenes. It has a great set of characters with personalities that make the anime enjoyable to watch. You have the beautiful president of the Kendo Club, Saeko Busujima, and Shizuka Marikawa, their hot school nurse who are sure to catch your attention. One thing I can easily assure the show is not at all annoying.
