Draw The Top/back Of The Spiky Hair
As mentioned before the back/top parts of this hairstyle will have a combined shape that resembles a flame.
To create the flame shape draw the hair clumps smaller and shorter starting from above the ears and getting generally larger and longer as they go up to the top of the head.
The clumps should also gradually transition away from the head and point more upwards the farther up you draw them. At the same time still try and randomize the size and direction of each clump.
Drawing An Anime Full Beard
To draw a full beard first draw the overall shape of the hair as described in the previous example. After that you can somewhat project the hair downwards and eventually draw some branching out clumps on the ends. Draw the clumps pointing in different direction for a more natural look.
This type of facial hair could be a good fit for a character that has been out in the wilderness for a while away from civilization.

Step 1:
Start by creating a guideline for the front hairline. Draw a curve to connect the hairline to approximately one-fourth of the way down the ear line.

To frame the face, create longer hair clumps for the side of the hair. Curve these hair clumps towards the face.

Create more of these hair clumps until it reaches approximately between the ear and the neck.

Add a few hair clumps around the hair randomly. Make sure youre still following the curves of the hair strands around the hairline. Finish the drawing and erase the guidelines.

Start by creating a guideline for the front hairline. Draw a curve to connect the hairline to approximately one-fourth of the way down the ear line.

Step 3:
When doing the top part of the hair, Follow the guidelines but add a few bumps that curve outward.
Step 4:
Add more detail to the drawing by creating curved lines. Start from the middle of the hairline and curve it out. Vary the length of the lines.
Step 5:
Create more lines, but this time, start from the top of the hairline and curve them towards the middle.
Step 6: Finish the drawing, and dont forget to erase the guidelines.

Direction Of Hair Growth
As anime hair is a simplified version of real hair its a good idea to also have a basic idea of how hair actually grows. The above example is a male head but the same would apply to a female head as well.
Hair starts out in a spiral from the top/back part of the head and grows mainly in the following directions:
- top hair grows mainly forward
- back hair grows mainly downwards
- sides hair grows mainly downwards
Fill The Shadow With The Character
You can add some very basic nuances to the drawing to make the work more prominent, shaded for some areas needed, for example:

How To Draw An Anime Boy Full Body Step By Step

Draw the front section with the base of the clumps starting from roughly the same spot as in the previous example but draw the shapes of the clumps swinging in the direction of the wind.
In this case the hair will be blowing forward and slightly to the left in relation to the head.

Draw The Top/back Of The Combed Back Hair
The back/top part in this case is somewhat complex as hair that has been combed back like this will tend to create all kinds of small bumps and clumps.
When drawing these bumps try to position them in a way where their combined shape still has a consistent flow to it. Meaning that you dont get one part that is very close to the head and one that really far away from it. There should be a gradual transition where the bumps and clumps are closer to the head around the ears and farther away from it at the top.
Try and make the hair bumps around the upper area of the head somewhat random in shape with some being much bigger and other being much smaller but keep the bumps above the ears generally small.
Draw a few pointy clumps in between the bumps as well. You can draw most of them with a bit of a wave.
