Re: Zero Starting Life In Another World

Top 20 BEST Action Anime of All Time You MUST Watch [HD]

Re:Zero starts off simple enough, but quickly turns into a series based on time loops, character development and unique villains. The adventure isnt linear, and the time loops dont always follow the expected path once reset.

The lead character, Subaru, is thrown into another world, Isekai, with his adventures kicking off after a chance encounter with the heroine, Emilia. It has quite a lot of comedic undertones, with Subaru, an anime fan, initially trying to predict all that will happen in his surroundings based on his experience watching anime. But things dont turn out this way for him.

Dragon Ball Dragon Ball Z & Dragon Ball: Super

The story of Goku, Vegeta, and the rest of the Z Warriors is one of the most iconic tales ever told in anime. From Dragon Ball, to Dragonball Z, and now Dragonball: Super, one can argue that DBZ almost single-handedly paved the way for anime in the West! The endless powerups, endlessly ascending power ceiling, drawn-out battles, and iconic characters have remained fresh in the minds of people for decades now, and the IP doesnt show any signs of slowing down in the near future either. And, with incredible games like Dragon Ball FighterZ, there’s no reason to slow down anyway!

My Teen Romantic Comedy: Snafu

This was a fun anime with good deeps of the dark side/antihero perspective, entertaining comedy with some dark deeps. HIGHLY recommend this to those of you who are constantly in self-doubt and beating themselves up, this one will be one of your favourites! It is honestly one of the more contradictory and unique anime.

best ANIME of All

Now dont hate me here, I know this technically has 2 seasons. But you can watch it in about an hour and a half because the episodes are 3 minutes long. I say that counts as a short anime!

The plot is simple what happens when an otaku marries a non-otaku? From the sound of it you would expect some corny tsundere-type show. But its quite the opposite.

The main couple are adorable together, and actually act like a damn couple.

They still bicker here and there so its realistic too. And they generally get into some hilarious situations, so if you feel like laughing for an hour give it a watch!

Natsume’s Book Of Friends

First aired: 2008 | Episodes: 74Where to watch: Crunchyroll

Growing up hasn’t been easy for Natsume, because he’s an orphan, and also because he can see yokai, or spirits, that no one else can. This makes him a bit of an outcast, but when he inherits a book from his late grandmother, his life suddenly makes a lot more sense. She could see spirits, too, and “bound” many of them to her in the Book of Friends, which is why they now hound poor Natsume.

The simple premise of the show is that Natsume seeks out these spirits in order to restore their names to them and unbind them. It’s a show that manages to be melancholy and heartwarming from episode to episode and even moment to moment. It’s a slice-of-life series with a touch of the supernatural, but what makes it great is how it uses those supernatural encounters to tell human stories. Getting to watch Natsume grow across many seasons keeps the formula from feeling rote.

Demon Slayer: Kimestu No Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimestu no Yaiba is one of the most popular manga and anime in the recent years. The original manga was serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016, and it came to an end in 2020. In 2019, the first season of the anime adaption was aired with 26 episodes, and the sequel is to be released as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train on the screen in October, 2020.

The setting is the fictional Japan in the early 20th century where humans and demons exist in the same society. The action adventure anime centers on demon slayers who look like Samurai including the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado. It depicts moving dramas of both the humans and demons that are originally born as a human being as well as exciting battle scenes.

Superman: The Animated Series

Top 3 Best Anime of All Time You Must Watch!!!

Superman always sprung to life on the page, but repeatedly proved to be a challenge onscreen. How do you provoke an indestructible, goodie-two-shoes hero? Villains have to be specially engineered to pose any threat whatsoever , and Clark Kent cant be the only identity offering the audience a human connection. Alan Burnett and Paul Dinis WB adaptation, the first of Warner Bros. Animations follow-ups to Batman: The Animated Series, made wise choices from the get-go. First, they introduced a Superman who was extremely durable rather than totally impervious. He felt pain when he was crushed by a toppling building, even if it wouldnt kill him, and watching him strain to save the day made his efforts that much more engaging, week after week. Making Lois Lane an active hero herself helped as well, and the realistic animation fit these updates, along with the bright tone and driving score. BT

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni When They Cry

When They Cry is considered one of the darkest anime series to ever exist, featuring extreme levels of graphic violence and dark themes that make it hard to watch for many. Youve been warned!

Its full of physical abuse, suicide, and torture, and the shock factor never takes a break. The story takes place in a small town, where a mysterious force causes the civilians to hallucinate, experience amplified negativity, and even a preference towards self-harm, but no one understands where it comes from.

Eventually, a group of friends decides to investigate the source of the mysterious force and eliminate it, before it ends up killing their loved ones and even themselves.

The series upholds its reputation in terms of being one of the most violent dark anime out there, and it is only slightly held back by its dated animation. But irrespective of that, it is very dark, twisted and will leave you shaken.

Action/sportsoriginal Anime With Less Than 50 Episodes

Cowboy Bebop

These are the very best original anime series with less than 50 episodes, in order of release date:

1. Cowboy Bebop

3. Psycho-Pass

4. Yuri!!! On Ice

I made a separate category for the anime titles listed above because these are all anime originals and are short anime series spanning 22 episodes or more. Also, there are a lot of stand-alone episodes in Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Unlike most of the anime listed earlier in this Hub, these series are already completed and were given a proper ending . It is important to note that Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are both Shinichiro Watanabe creations.

I recently added Yuri!!! On Ice on this list, the only sports anime in the category. I was actually hesitant at first because Yuri On Ice appears to be fundamentally different compared to the other titles listed here, but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of adding a new original anime category with only one entry. Compared to other titles, Yuri On Ice’s strength relies more on character growth, relationships, and emphasis on details.

Havent You Heard Im Sakamoto

Sakamoto is just insane. Its the most predictable and yet non-predictable show I have seen in a while.

We catch on immediately that Sakamoto is perfection and that he will always come out ahead and win. But he does it in just the weirdest, most fabulous ways possible.

The conclusion to every conflict just has you sitting there laughing, repeating Of course that would happen. Its all so nonsensical that it makes perfect sense.

Also everyone falls in love with this man, for Gods sake the bullies that wanted to beat him up ended up putting his picture as their phone background.

And then there is Kubotas mother, jeez louise.

This anime is like Mission Impossible only its extremely possible, because he is Sakamoto.

Q: Is An Anime Of My Choice Ok For Somebody Who Dont Like Strong Language Violence Or Nudity

Best Anime Series Of All Time: A List Of Animes To Watch

Again, if the movie or anime youre wondering about has a review in this list, check the notes. They cover a great amount of what kind of objectionable material is in an anime. Regardless, these anime focus more on fighting in the first place, so there may be a subtle scene of nudity or strong language, but violence? For sure. However, the violence can also range from having no traces of blood during the fights to a full-blown red bloodbath. It depends.

Children Of The Whales

Children of the Whales plays with the idea of a postapocalyptic world racked by ecological disaster, this time as a global desert instead of an ocean. A pocket of survivors now lives on a giant floating city called the Mud Whale, and a majority of them developed psychokinetic abilities. Its 12 episodes explore what happens when the Mud Whale encounters another island with very different beliefs, and the conflict that follows. And while thats all interesting, its stylized animation, watercolorlike backgrounds, and slow pace put the show in a class of its own.Watch it if you love: Dune, Mortal Engines

Q: Whats With The Huge Eyes In Anime

No, its not some inferiority complex, and not quite all anime has the big eye style. But, most of it does, and the fact of the matter is that no one is 100% sure why. However, the first person to use that style is usually credited as Osamu Tezuka, the creator of the old Astro Boy TV series among various other very popular TV shows that became the foundation for Japans entire animation and comic industry. As to where Tezuka got the idea, Fred Ladd, who worked with him, has said that he said he was emulating Betty Boop, who was popular in Japan at the time. Other early US-produced animated characters that predate the anime style also have very large eyes.

Love it or hate it, anime is here to stay. Anime is an umbrella term for all things animation originated from Japan or with a Japanese style. The classification is based on target demographic and/or style.

So we have action anime, comedy anime, shounen , and so on. Think of any style, genre, or sub-genre and you can be sure that there are at least several anime series with that theme.

But what are the best anime of all time? Lets take a look at some of the most popular anime media franchises that include manga, TV series, games, movies, and other forms of entertainment.

The Rising Of The Shield Hero

The Rising Of The Shield Hero is a recent series from 2019. But its one of the few Isekai I rate so highly.

Naofumis realistic struggle against the double standard of sexual assault, and how the womans word is believed without evidence.

The constant defamation of his character, and most people refusing to think or question whether its true or not Not to mention Naofumis relationship with Raphtalia .

Shield Hero is a meaningful series like no other, and it executes better than most anime

When it comes to anime with historical elements, Fate Zero dominates. Especially for its insane levels of action, precision and entertainment.

I wouldnt put any other Fate series about Fate Zero, but its too much of a quality series that KNOWS how to shine in the action genre.

School Live looks cute , but in reality its one of the deepest shows on this list. Tackling themes like mental illness, psychosis, hallucination and similar topics.

Like , the anime tricks you into thinking its a fun series until its too late to turn back.
