Monsterland: Hulus Horror Anthology Conjures Up A Creepy First Trailer
Hulu has dropped the first trailer for Monsterland, a new horror anthology that features Kelly Marie Tran, Kaitlyn Dever, Mike Colter and more.
Hulu’s original horror anthology Monsterland has released its chilling first.
Framed through Kaitlyn Dever’s character speaking on choices people make throughout their lives, she begins, “When you’re born, when you were a little baby, there’s a million yous you could be.”

She continues speaking about how if you choose to be one thing, the other version of you dies off, in a way. We then see short snapshots of the horrors the characters played by Nicole Beharie, Mike Colter and Taylor Schilling, among others, will endure.
Throughout the trailer, we see a man with an oxygen tank and one cloudy eye as he comes upon some kind of sea creature a woman with a big engagement ring in a big house getting stalked and terrorized a woman living with a humanoid blood-covered entity that emerges from a blood-filled bathtub: and glimpses of proper monsters at the very end.
At one point we hear Schilling say, “this thing that’s inside of me, it’s mean.”
Encounters with mermaids, fallen angels, and other strange beasts drive broken people to desperate acts in Monsterland, an anthology series based on the collection of stories from Nathan Ballingruds “North American Lake Monsters”.
