Zom 100 incorporates lots of shounen elements into its plot. Great action scenes, cartoonish and over the top villains, all of these loved tropes come out in full force here. Not only this, akin to Akiras company, slews of black comedy are also used to pepper the storyline. Zombies are a dark topic. If you really think about it, the prospect of a zombie invasion is deathly serious. Its refreshing to have the blackness of death used in conjunction with black comedy. Working jobs you hate can lead to your spirit dying inside. Through comedy, however, that will to live can be revitalized. Be it as a coping or escape mechanism, sometimes a good laugh is enough to transform the worst of days into something to be remembered.;

Is There Enough Source Material

The serialization of the Korezom LN series began way back in 2009. It ran for six years till June 20, 2015. During these six years, the author published a total of 19 volumes. The first two anime series of the anime has only followed the light novel till its 10th volume. Therefore, Studio Deen still has 9 volumes to use in Is This A Zombie Season 3. Nine books are more than enough to produce a single full season of any anime series.

Tokyo Ghouls popularity exploded in recent years and it isnt too hard to see why. Be it an abundance of stylized gore, interesting characters, or an easy cosplay option in Kanekis mask, this shows fanbase continues to grow by the day.

Kaneki was forced into this world. Forced to eat humans in order to survive. It parallels greatly with the death of his own mother. She continuously supplied his uncaring and deadbeat older sister with money until Kanekis mother unfortunately died.

Inheriting many of his mothers traits, Kaneki struggles to accept his fate at first. However, he also debates whether or not to give in to his urges. Rize, the gluttonous, over-indulging ghoul responsible for his transformation, was indirectly killed by her insatiable hunger.

There is an argument for both cases but ultimately, Kaneki embodies the happy medium. Both a lackadaisical life and a life of uncapped depravity have the same result. Too much or too little of anything can result in both a literal or metaphorical death. Learning to balance both addictive urges with melancholic apathy, is the key to ensuring a satisfying life and avoiding an untimely death.

Is Renewed Or Canceled

One of the great things about this show is that it is very unpredictable. It is really weird, but at the same time, it is entertaining as well. Its action scenes turned out to be a cherry on the cake for its critical acclaim. Both installments featured some amazing character development as well-no wonder the fans are asking for more episodes of this show.

However, despite all the positive reviews, the officials are yet to green signal the series for its third season. Well, they have neither canceled nor renewed Is This A Zombie Season 3. The followers of the show are disappointed due to the lack of response from the makers.

How Kabaneri Distances Itself From Attack On Titan And Other Zombie Anime

Yes, the similarities are incredibly apparent once you start watching this show. However, I dont know why this is considered a bad thing. Yes, Attack on Titan is the more critically acclaimed show and arguably better in every way. Personally, I think Attack on Titan is a great show and anything that even comes close to replicating its genius deserves my attention.

I like chocolate cake the most but if the supermarket only has cheesecake that day, Im not going to post a five-page review of the store discrediting their produce.

Ill just buy the cheesecake and enjoy it for what it is.

Kabaneri doesnt have the greatest story, the greatest plot development, or the most original concept. What it does have, is a pounding musical score, beautiful animation, and marvelously choreographed action.

Sometimes, death can be kind of cool.

If you have ever sat through any piece of media where the villain monologues to a fault, torments the protagonist for the majority of the experience, and appears seemingly invincible, it is nice to see said person receive their comeuppance.

Its great to see our protagonist finally best this mystery enemy in a tooth and nail fight scene and ultimately send him to the pits of hell. This is what Kabaneri nails in its execution.

If you love action, blood, and fighty-pew-pew-gun-bang-explosion, give this show a chance. You wont be disappointed.

Both the previous installments of this show met with a positive critical reception. Its ratings were also good, and it also has a score of 7.55 on MyAnimeList. The premiere of the anime increased the sales of its LN, and the production studio still has enough source to make the third season. Although not necessarily the highest ranked anime on this list based on MAL scores, Highschool of the Dead is arguably the best zombie anime to date. This has much to do with its serious plot, exciting turn of events, and its similarity to Western zombie TV shows and movies that are popular today. As the title implies, the story follows five high school studentsplus two more charactersas they work together to get to safety after their high school gets overrun by zombies. The shows fan service can be excessive at times, but the gore and violence more than make up for it.

The Empire Of Corpses
