The creator of One-Punch Man brings us yet another cool story about a guy whos pretty much overpowered, told in a light and entertaining manner.
Mob Psycho 100 follows Shigeo Kageyama , an ordinary-looking middle school student. It turns out that hes an incredibly powerful psychic with amazing powers. He works under Reigen Arataka, a self-proclaimed psychicthis is all just pretend though, seeing as Reigen is a con artist. Mob works under Reigen to exorcise spirits.
Mob Psycho 100 is written by One, which is the manga artists pseudonym. It began serialization in the online version of Weekly Shnen Sunday called Ura Sunday in April 2012. It ran until 2017, gathering a total of 16 volumes. The North American serialization was under Dark Horse Comics.
The anime adaptation by Bones currently has two seasons which aired between 2016 and 2019. There are a total of 25 episodes which makes it fairly easy to binge-watch within a day. Some fans might be confused as to whether Mob Psycho 100 is a shnen or a slice of lifewhile it is under the shnen demographic, Id say its a bit of both, but probably mostly the latter.
The final episode of the second season of Mob Psycho 100 ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger. Unfortunately, it didnt cover the whole manga up until the ending.

Due to a childhood incident involving his psychic powers, Shigeo has subconsciously sealed away his emotions as a means to better control his psychic abilities. However, there is a limit to how much of his emotions he can keep bottled up. Once he reaches his limit, all the power that he kept suppressed will explode out, giving him a significant boost in his psychic abilities.
The progression toward Shigeo’s explosion is visually depicted with a percentage labeled “Shigeo’s Progress Towards Explosion” that eventually reaches 100%. The more emotional stimulus that Shigeo experiences, the faster his limit will be reached. After Shigeo’s psychic explosion has completed, the counter of his emotional limit will reset back to 0%.
When Shigeo explodes, how he uses his enhanced power depends on the emotion he felt when he reached his limit. The emotions that have been displayed at 100% so far include:

He runs a business called Spirits And Such Consultation Office. Where he tricks his customers into believing he can tame, destroy, or even talk to spirits and solve all their problems.
He basically makes a killing off peoples stupidity. But even still theres a lot to learn from this guy.

No matter what the situation is, Reigen is a master at persuasion, and getting what he wants. Even in circumstances where one simple mistake could cost him his life.

And when he didnt get what he wanted, he started crying. Soon enough his parents bought the ice cream to keep the kid quiet.
