Annos anime art aims toward more futuristic stories. Neon Genesis Evangelion involves a futuristic city, bio-machines, and violent monsters. Anno also included particular characters to play the parts.
With 26 episodes, he has impacted anime art through his idea of creating his own world, all from scratch. This has helped many other anime artists to go wild with their imaginations. Anime art is not limited to what we can see in this world alone.
With Annos influence, many anime worlds were created and enjoyed by the whole world.

Zombie Land Saga Revenge picks up where the first season left off, continuing to tell the stories of the unique zombie girls who became idols. We finally get to see the backstories for characters like Yugiri, the courtesan from the 19th century, as well as find out more about the area of Saga. Saga, the prefecture of Japan that the idol group is looking to bring life back to, seems to be under a curse causing unfortunate accidents to happen to it, preventing it from ever flourishing. The girls dont give up, though. Filled with snappy songs and slapstick comedy, Zombie Land Saga Revenge remains a must-watch. JL

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: An Eight
Take any other shonen series, replace all the characters with 65 unnaturally muscular men, and give them each their own superpowered ghost, and youve got JoJos Bizarre Adventure. The source material, written and drawn by Hirohiko Araki, has been going on for decades and is an excellent tale that documents the lives of various people in the Joestar line such as Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno, Jolyne, Johnny, and even Jojolion. Every part is unique, distinctive, and engrossing to boot.
What originally started as a story about a stone mask and vampires is now a tale about using your weird ghost power to beat up another ghost power user and looking stylish while doing it. The number of different franchises this series has influenced in its run is immeasurable, and its undoubtedly one of the all-time greats. And, for anyone keeping up with the manga series, Part 8: Jojolion just ended, with the next part already confirmed! So, anime-only fans have the Netflix anime for Part 6: Stone Ocean to look forward to, while manga fans have Part 9 not too far off on the horizon.

The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K
I already knew Netflix anime could be good from Devilman Crybaby. But Saiki K. made me hopeful that it can be funny as well.
This is a gag anime so the overarching plot is non-important, although there are a few multi-episode arcs.
Saiki is overall a very absurd comedy. I mean Saiki is like a nerfed state of Minecraft creative mode, so the possibilities are endless.
There are a lot of little things that make me love the show. Kaidous theme song that plays whenever he speak of the Dark Reunion, Terukashis inner diva, and Nendou being Nendou.
The humor is not as crude as some other entries on this list. And you can enjoy the show even if youve never watched anime in your life. Its really made for broad audiences, hence why I think its on Netflix.
Can we also just appreciate how Saiki is literally always complaining? Not in an Asuma screeching annoying way. I mean the guy is just so done with everyone, I love it.
Pokemon Season : Master Quest
Master Quest may seem like a strange choice for the second best season of the Pokemon anime, but let me tell you why good quality episodes.
Very few seasons featured the sheer number of quality episodes compared to Master Quest. In one season we get several Lugia episodes, an origin story for the mysterious Ho-oh, a fantastic Every episode, a time travel story, Ash and Pikachu swapping bodies, a real encounter with a real Entei, an episode featuring an Unown and a full Pokemon League!
It really didn’t get much better.

Hunter X Hunter: Shounen At Its Finest
There’s a reason why Hunter X Hunter is one of the greatest shonen series of all time. The plot, pacing, and characters of this show are considered to be second to none. Few shonen arcs are as well-paced or as tense as the Chimera Ant Arc. The manga originally got an anime adaptation in 1999, but the fanbase had quite a few issues with this rendition. Luckily, Madhouse took on their own adaptation in 2011 that was much more well-received.
Whether its the music, the animation, the sound design, or just the fight choreography, Hunter X Hunter is just such an easy series to get engrossed in. There’s a reason why people play games similar to it just in the hopes of scratching that itch. However, those games have their own share of problems as well. And who could forget about Nen, one of the most versatile and interesting shonen power systems of all time? Yeah, no doubt about it, HxH is the cream of the crop.
What We Love About Fruits Basket
- The story about the Zodiac animals, especially in personifying them, is one of the most creative choices in anime to date. Pairing this with the romantic aspect of one of the zodiac animals falling in love with a human makes the story even more interesting and engaging.
- The romance feels very authentic and real as if the characters were written with true passion. The relationships themselves are generally very healthy, and those that arent being dealt with appropriately.
- The 2019 rendition of Fruit Baskets is absolutely beautiful in terms of design, animation, and character movement. Its a real masterpiece.

The East Blue Sea Resides In An Expansive World
One Piece‘s world is far too detailed to serve it justice here. In short, however, several geographical and social features were taken into consideration during its conception. Not only is the world separated into different seas and landmasses, but it’s also got its own weather patterns, peoples and cultures, and even distinct flora and fauna. The Devil Fruits are one such detail, with there being several different types of Devil Fruits with a myriad of effects. As if that wasn’t enough, we have the world’s lore, centering on the legend of Gol D. Roger and the mysterious treasure he stashed in the Grand Line.
What We Love About Black Butler
- The story has extreme depth, is very cerebral, and doesnt pull its punches whatsoever. Its dark, horrid in places, yet very well written in all of its aspects, including the minute details in the intricate plot.
- The characters are extremely flawed, but well written in every aspect of their personalities. No one character is overworked or overemphasized, and they all balance each other out in the best ways possible.
- The animation and art is beautiful. Everything flows well when it needs to, and during the fights, movements are tight, skillfully drawn, and every aspect is well done.

Pokemon Season : Advanced Challenge
Continuing their journey in the Hoenn region, Ash, May, Max, and Brock had a few adventures in Advanced Challenge but none of which really stood out as that memorable. None, except for the classic two-parter that saw the return of Misty and Togepi The Princess and the Togepi and A Togepi Mirage.While these two episodes were truly epic, they still couldn’t boost the season higher than number 10.

Choyoyu or High School Prodigies Have it Easy even in another world is an Isekai Anime where an airplane accident happens to have 7 high school students in it. When they wake up, they find themselves in the middle of a magical world. Beautiful, isnt it? On the first look, we thought that these high school kids wont survive an era with no modern tech just a kingdom run by guilds and magic.
But, to our surprise, these kids are the high school prodigies and they dont even break a sweat. Well, with the story aside, lets talk about our Main Character which is Tsukasa Mikogami. Tsukasa is the reason Choyoyu is on our list today.
Due to his genius intellect, Tsukasa is the prime minister of Japan at a relatively young age. Like, Cmon, do you think a high school student will be able to run a whole of Japan? Aside from that, he is also running the high school club called Seven Prodigies.
So what makes Tsukasa an overpowered Isekai main character? Tsukasa has the best deduction and planning skills out of all the seven prodigies. The power to be always correct is something only an overpowered Isekai character would possess. So in short, Tsukasas intelligence is what made him worthy of being on our list today.

Darling In The Franxx
Pubescent teens fighting in giant mechas isnt new, Neon Genesis Evangelion has already made that trope its own. But DARLING in the FRANXX isnt an EVA clone in the slightest. Sure, it, too, is about kids fighting to save the world. But its also about how these children manage to evolve and grow, despite their emotions constantly getting in the way.
Even though it has its drawbacks like over-the-top fan service and dramatic teenagers DARLING in the FRANXX manages to tell a moving tale about love, dealing with loss, and standing up for whats right. It lets the viewers see that, despite the world falling apart, the power of love can accomplish anything, and even bring hope and new life.
DARLING in the FRANXX has an amazing visual team consisting of A-1 Pictures, CloverWorks, and Studio Trigger. Thanks to their combined talents, the series colorful, high-octane battle sequences reach a level higher than most mecha series in recent memory.

Naruto And Sasuke Vs Momoshiki
No matter how you may feel about Boruto, this sequel series has given us some of the best fights in the entire franchise. Theyre so good that they can be seen as some of the very best that the shonen genre has to offer. Naruto and Sasuke vs. Momoshiki is one of those fights.
Despite this duo being on the same team for almost the entirety of the original series, this is one of the few times that we actually see Naruto and Sasuke going all-out against the same enemy and its amazing.
Theres a great mix of taijutsu and ninjutsu, with callbacks to memorable moments from the original Naruto, including tricks used against Zabuza, moves first seen against Orochimaru in the Forest of Death, and more. This fight is one of the best youll ever see in anime and its a must-watch, especially for longtime Naruto fans.

KonoSuba: Gods Blessing on this Wonderful World! is a good comedy Isekai anime, based on the light novel written by Natsume Akatsuki. The first season of KonoSuba was released in 2016 and the second one in 2017. The story starts after a teenager Kazuma died in an accident and was sent to another world with the goddess Aqua.
