Purple Haze Feedback Ova Anime Possible

For huge JoJo fans, the elephant in the room is whether a Purple Haze Feedback OVA anime will ever be made. Purple Haze Feedback is a light novel written by Kohei Kadono and illustrated by Araki that was released as part of the JoJo 25th anniversary project VS JoJo.

The reason why a Purple Haze Feedback anime makes sense at this time is because the plot of the book is set in Milan, Italy six months after the ending of the Golden Wind anime. Pannacotta Fugo is the main protagonist this time and Guido Mista orders Fugo to assassinate a bunch of people to prove his loyalty.

As it so happens, fans at Anime Expo 2019 asked the anime staff about the possibility of Purple Haze Feedback. Warner Bros. Japan producers Takamitsu Sueyoshi and Hiroyuki Omori responded by saying that a Purple Haze Feedback OVA episode is possible if David Production and Araki are open to the idea.

This response jumpstarted rumors that the PHF OVA is happening. To be clear, their answer was not a confirmation of a Purple Haze Feedback OVA episode. But anime fans should feel heartened that its being discussed openly.

Ways Anime Expo Streamlined Entry

1. Entry management experts on-site

SPJA chose to partner with Eventbrites team of Field Ops experts, who used their previous experience working with more than 2,000 world class events to predict when fans would arrive. For cons, they knew that about 10% of fans show up before the gates even open, and an additional 40-60% tend to show up within the first three hours. By estimating the number of fans a volunteer could scan in a minute, they created a sitemap to prevent bottlenecks. Preparations went so smoothly, the team was able to open doors two hours early though with three Eventbrite experts on-site, the team knew they would have been supported if something had gone wrong.

Last year, fans had to wait in 2 or 3-hour lines even on the fastest day. This year, it took only thirty minutes for all the fans that camped out overnight to get through the door. The rest of the time, there were no lines at all, which shocked repeat attendees.

2. State of the art badge technology

In 2014, the badge process was a disaster. It was responsible for both a 3 hour delay opening the doors, and printing errors that made staff run out mid-day to restock. With Eventbrites secondary code assignment technology, all fans had to do was scan the ticket then scan the unique barcode on the badges. The technology allowed fans to be quickly identified later if necessary, and supported exhibitor, press, guest and VIP badges as well.

3. A stress-free volunteer experience

4. Easy access reporting

How Do Anime Cons Work

Anime conventions often have panels, which are open ended discussions involving some pre-determined topic, usually related in at least some way to anime. Panels usually come in two segments, the host puts on a presentation or does an interview with a guest, and then the fans are asked to give questions.

Jojos Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Manga Compared To The Jojo Anime

The story for the anime is based on the JoJos Bizarre Adventure manga series by creator Hirohiko Araki. The manga started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump way back in 1987, collected in over 125 volumes.

The official English translation of the JoJo manga is available from VIZ Media. Unfortunately, None of JoJo Part 6 manga volumes have been officially released in English. The company has only released some of the volumes in the first four parts, so the anime is substantially ahead of the English manga.

The first two parts of the manga series, JoJo: Phantom Blood and JoJo: Battle Tendency, was 12 volumes, so it was adapted in 2012/2013 as 26 episodes in the first season. The 17 volumes of the third part, JoJo: Stardust Crusaders, was 152 chapters in total. The second season was a split-cour anime season that was divided into two separate 24-episode broadcasting blocks that aired in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

The fourth part, JoJo: Diamond Is Unbreakable, was 174 chapters collected into 18 volumes. The late 2015 anime adaptation broke the mold a bit by having 39 episodes. The three-cour third season was released in late 2015.

Similarly, the fourth anime season, Golden Wind , was also released as three cours with 39 episodes. The Golden Wind manga was 155 chapters collected in 17 volumes.

  • Hand sanitizer is available at most places that sell masks .
  • If you want as much distance around you as possible on trains, consider green cars, especially on the shinkansen.
  • Many restaurants in Japan offer private rooms, which are called koshitsu. Your hotel concierge can help you locate such restaurants and reserve them for you.
  • Consider visiting popular destinations early in the morning or just before they close in the late afternoon. Or, consider visiting off-the-beaten-track destinations.

Jojo Stone Ocean/part 6 Spoilers

Set in 2011, the story of JoJos Bizarre Adventure Part 6 jumps ahead 10 years into the future. At this point, its been almost 150 years since the events of Phantom Blood and nearly 100 years since Battle Tendency. JoJo: Stone Ocean is thus the grand finale of the main JoJo timeline.

As such, JoJo Part 6 brings back one of its most glittering alumni. Jotaro Kujo, the main character in Stardust Crusaders, played a prominent side role in Diamond is Unbreakable and showed up briefly in Golden Wind, but now he once again takes a critical role in JoJo: Stone Ocean.

In this case, its Jotaros daughter, Jolyne Cujoh, who takes the primary role. Jolyne is the first female protagonist that is directly related to the Joestar line. And she just happens to be located in Florida when our story starts.

Yes, the new characters are going to the land of Disney World. And that observation is entirely appropriate since the story literally has certain Disney-owned characters popping up in addition to referencing Disneys MGM Studios park .

Without getting into the reason for this event, there is a Bohemian Rhapsody story arc where every fictional character ever conceived is brought to life. That means Mickey Mouse, Pinocchio, the Seven Dwarves, and many more. Even Spider-Man, Star Wars Chewbacca, and the Terminator T-2000 show up.

Flights To Japan Currently Operating

Here are cities with direct flights to Japan and the airlines that operate them. Most flights go to Tokyo , but a few flights from Asia also go to Kansai . Most flights here are not daily, but a few times a week.

At present, this information is only relevant to Japanese citizens and permanent residents due to travel restrictions. We expect this situation to change soon and we will update every Monday.

Editorialized History Error In Organizational Structure

As full disclosure, I have been involved with AnimeExpo and the SPJA since 1992. In any case, I am changing the HISTORY portion, since being the largest does not automatically mean “premeire” and this may be interpreted as editorialized content. It would be best for all if this page were more neutral and not inject value terms like “premeire.” Also there is an error in the Organizational Structure. Chair position was compensated in 2005 and 2006. In 2005 Chair and two vice-charis were compensated. Not all officers in the SPJA are compensated, its more accurate to mention that the CEO and the CFO are compensated. Also it should be noted that most compensation is not a “full time” salary. The CEO and CFO in theory can live off of the salary, but it is not a wage that can in any way be called market-competitive given the titles or responsibilities. Should this be moved to a separate SPJA page? I will make a few changes here in any case, if someone moves it to an SPJA page that is fine with me.Daroldhiga 23:04, 18 August 2006

Please start the SPJA article.–Outis 23:09, 18 August 2006

I think I violated my own rule here, “far below” is editorializing on the salary. Will remove the word “far.” Daroldhiga 16:57, 21 August 2006

Discussion To Avert Edit War

The First Ever Bakugan TCG Tournament: Anime Expo Open 2019!

Recently there has been the beginnings of an edit war between two interested editors, both feeling that they are working in the best interest of the article. The content is as follows:

In 2009, various members of the SPJA requested a vote of no confidence against the Board of Directors and the new CEO due to “multiple internal issues”. The letter is quoted saying “… could possibly have cost us the chance to put on AX2010 or an AX2010 that the attendees truly deserve” and calls into question the $8,400 spent in airline tickets by the new CEO in a visit to Japan, among other things.

This was to be placed in its own section at the end of the article before the references. In one removal, the summary read:

Reverted 1 edit by Zeno McDohl Rv not a controversy nor a reliable source. using TW

and in the second removal the summary read:

Reverted 1 edit by Zeno McDohl Not based on a reliable source and WP:UNDUE.

How Anime Expo Thrilled Fans By Cutting Line

Anime Expo is the largest anime convention in North America. For four days each July, over 90,000 passionate fans fill the Los Angeles Convention Center to celebrate Japanese animation and manga. In 2015, Anime Expo showcased 300 exhibitors, 60 entertainment guests, and the biggest artist alley in the nation. Its a jam-packed experience for the whole community so much so that the city of Los Angeles declared July 3 Anime Expo day.

The event brings together a tight knit community of staff and volunteers as well as fans. Hosted by the non-profit Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, the events success relies on a small workforce and more than 1,600 volunteers. As the Division Manager of Registration and Exhibits, it is Amy Miyamotos job to deliver excellent customer service to anyone that comes through the door. With the number of eager attendees increasing by 12% last year alone, we sat down with Amy to find out how her small team tackled checking-in a growing crowd.
