The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh

Anime News: Disney Plus Licenses TV Anime! New Competitior in Seasonal Anime?

The reason theres a new in the title is because the show follows on pretty directly from the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh . Inspired by A.A. Milnes stories, it follows our beloved bear as he wanders aimlessly through the Hundred Acre Woods, doling out zen catchphrases and getting his curvaceous behind stuck in various burrows and tree stumps. Everyones favourites are here, from Eeyore to Tigger, while it remains the only series to regularly feature Christopher Robin as a character.

The series is a near-perfect continuation of the stories we all know and love. It just has such a calming presence. Its like a big hug from someone wearing a fuzzy jumper or a cup of tea on a blustery day.

How To Watch ‘star Wars: Visions’

“Star Wars: Visions” is now available to stream exclusively on Disney Plus. All nine episodes premiered on September 22. You won’t need to pay any Premier Access fees to watch the series the $8 monthly plan or $80 annual plan will suffice.

If you want access to even more streaming entertainment, you can get the Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus bundle for an extra $6 a month. The bundle saves you about $7 a month compared to signing up for each service individually.

The Disney Plus app is available on Apple devices, Android, Playstation, Xbox, Roku, Fire TV, and most smart TV brands. Disney Plus also supports up to 4K streaming with Dolby Vision and HDR color support on compatible devices.

Every Pokemon Episode Now Available To Stream On Disney Now App

Disney is putting all 20 seasons of the Pokemon anime series on its on-demand streaming app.

Yesterday, Disney announced that every single episode of the Pokemon anime series was now available to stream on its Disney Now app. This means that nearly 1,000 episodes of Ash and Pikachu’s adventures are now available to watch at anytime on any streaming device.

Nobody’s said “Gotta Catch ‘Em All” and had every episode of The Series to back it up… UNTIL NOW! #DisneyNOW has 20 seasons for you to catch, from “Pokémon, I Choose You!” to “When Regions Collide!” That’s almost 1,000 episodes!

Disney XD

Disney obtained the airing rights to the Pokemon franchise in 2016 and is currently airing dubbed versions of Pokemon the Series: Sun and Moon. While several past Pokemon anime series are currently available on streaming services like Netflix, they’ll be pulled off in January 2018. This means that the Disney Now app will be the only way to legally stream the Pokemon anime.

Disney Now is Disney’s on-demand streaming app, designed specifically to access various Disney Channel shows. Disney Now consolidated Disney’s various on-demand apps into one streaming service and allows users to watch Disney cable stations “live” or on demand. Unfortunately, not every Pokemon fan will have access to the Disney Now app. While a handful of episodes are available to watch for free, most of the episodes require a cable or satellite subscription to view.

Gargoyles Is A Surprisingly Dark Disney Animated Show

Darker than any previous Disney animated fare from the ’90s, this iconic series centers on living, human-defending versions of the rooftop fixtures struggling to save our world from a variety of epic threats.

Action-packed and featuring an all-star voice case, “Gargoyles'” dense mythology and more dramatic tone was ahead of its time but the stories hold up much better than most of its contemporaries do.

As for whether any of this is canon, I have no idea, but it doesnt seem like it. Reportedly, Lucasfilm told these animators that they did not have to make these shorts fit into the timeline, though I would imagine there were probably some restrictions that they had to invent new characters rather than using existing ones. I didnt recognize anyone at all from any of these previews, and I would not be surprised if that was the rule. As in, you can tell any story in the Star Wars universe you want, so long as youre inventing it from scratch.

I do wonder if this may be some sort of audition process for a longer, potentially canon project to come. As in, if one of these shorts really stands out and the story resonates with fans, perhaps Disney greenlights a larger project involving that studio and those new characters. I wouldnt be surprised to see that happen, or I guess the obvious second choice is just a second season of this later with new shorts.

Regardless, Im very much looking forward to watching all these this fall.

What Languages Are Available On Disney+

Disney Plus Is Getting Anime!? | Manga Watch

When Disney Plus first launched, it was only available in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands , supporting 4 languages English, Spanish, French, and Dutch. With more countries being added, you can expect to see this list of supported languages grow.

All classic Walt Disney films and animations, Pixar, Marvel, 20th Century Fox and new Disney+ originals are available in up to 12 different languages. As a general rule of thumb, movies that have been around for a few years and are big names will have been translated into more languages. For example, The Little Mermaid is available in Danish, Dutch, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Suomi. While The Little Mermaid II is only available in Spanish and English.

Disney+ also supports closed captioning, descriptive audio, and navigation assistance to help subscribers with disabilities.

All 9 New Disney+ Animated Tv Shows Explained

Disney just announced dozens of upcoming titles, and nine of them are animated series produced by Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios for Disney+.

Disney just announced nine new TV shows coming to Disney+ that will be produced by either Walt Disney Animation Studios or Pixar. These series will mark new ventures for the production studios, both of which primarily focus on feature films with theatrical releases, and are now turning their efforts toward Disney+.

The move is likely a direct response to theater closures in 2020. Many theaters could remain closed through 2021. Other theaters have closed permanently, and – unfortunately – there could be more theaters that will permanently close in the coming months. While some economists have optimistically projected that many of the industries hardest hit by Covid will recover in the coming year, the hard truth is that even Disney can’t afford to wait that long.

What Is The Kingdom Hearts Animated Series Going To Be About

Trying to guess the plot of the Kingdom Hearts animated series is an even more fruitless venture than trying to explain the plot of any single Kingdom Hearts game. Considering the games are notorious for their convoluted plot points, its probably better not to even try making predictions at this point.

Speaking broadly, Kingdom Hearts is about Sora, a teen desperate for adventure. Throughout the many, many games in the Kingdom Hearts series, Sora works with Goofy, Donald, and Mickey to beat the big baddie, Xenahort… who is also a Heartless named Ansem and a Nobody called Xemnas.

Yes, it’s true.

Will These Movies Release In All Disney+ Territories

We know this is the planned release date for the USA only. And planned doesnt mean set in stone. Things change. They change all the time in the complex world of streaming TV.

With that said some of these titles are the global release dates. Unlike the years gone its no longer as common for the US to get shows months before hand. So things like WandaVision, Loki, Andor, Cruella or Star Wars: Visions release at the same time globally, usually midnight PST.

The only difference between the US and the rest of the world is that most countries outside of America have Star. In the US thats called Hulu. The rest of the world arent lucky enough to have Hulu as a standalone service. Instead they have the Star banner incorporated into Disney+ albeit with less content.

However that means what the rest of the world may expect to launch onto Disney+ in the US it will be on Hulu. Weve made sure to take note of those titles in the table above.

Its also worth noting that there is a stack of new original content in the works for Disney+. Not to mention cinema-bound blockbusters migrating to the service. Plus, there is a humongous back catalog of TV shows yet to receive release dates, too. So, this list will bloom. And as dates for these shows come to light, well update the list.

Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Technical Directors Discuss Raya and the Last Dragon | Disney

During it’s run, Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes was often called Marvel’s answer to the Justice League tv series, and it shows. Like DC’s animated adaption of their premier team, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes had the same smart writing, excellent animation and well-defined characterization that made Justice League a hit and remains one of the best versions of Marvel’s most popular Superhero group.

From adapting classic Avengers stories from the comics to borrowing elements from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this version of the Avengers was able to appeal and please both non-fans and hardcore audiences at the same time.

Recess Is An Iconic ’90s Animated Show

While not a huge hit, “Recess” was popular enough to create a loyal fanbase and significant of ’90s nostalgia.

Part of Disney/ABC’s Saturday morning programming block in 1997, “Recess” traded in Disney’s tried-and-true animated critter approach for a show about six elementary school kids and their teachers and how they used their recess time to create and live in their own fantasy world. More heady than usual Saturday morning fare, “Recess” succeeded in being about something more than just laughs and it still holds up today.
