Years ago, South Korea killed a group of North Korean soldiers with one survivor being captured. Over the next several years, the South Korean government uses this man in combat training to create a new fighting style thats perfected by Taejin Jin once he defeated the captured soldier.
The South Korean government sends Taejin and the Re-Taekwondo Force to investigate an energy reading in North Korea they believe might be the signature of a new nuclear weapon.
When the Force runs into North Korean soldiers they eventually realize they are trying to keep something from escaping the tunnels of an excavation site. They are shocked when theyre attacked by a giant blue gorilla creature.
Taejin engages the gorilla in combat but then a special American MK force attacks. These Americans are wearing special suits with drills and lasers.
In the aftermath of the battle, the defeated gorilla entrusts Taejin with a crystal. Contained inside is Jin Mori, who looks like a baby human. The gorilla melts and it turns out this powerful being was simply Moris clothing come to life to protect him.
After escaping from North Korea, Taejin and the rest of the Re-Taekwondo Force were labeled as defectors.
What Is The Plot Of The God Of High School Season 2
The first season of “The God of High School” features a complete story arc. At the end of Season 1, the fighter Taek transforms into a god, transcending humanity and unlocking powers that he unleashes on Mori and his friends. This change prompts Mori’s own awakening, unlocking his memories and allowing him to remember he is not a mortal high school student but the great god Sun Wukong, aka the Monkey King. With this knowledge now in hand, he is able to summon his own powers and his staff Ruyi Jingu, which he uses to attack Taek, who eventually transforms into a monster. With the help of his friends, Mori is able to defeat Taek, becoming the winner of The God of High School tournament. He then uses his wish to heal Ilpyo’s friends who are injured.
While the main narrative arc of the season concluded in the finale, there is a hint of what’s to come as well. The first season ends with Daewi and Mira telling Mori that he must travel to his homeland to fully recover his memories as a god. So a second season will likely see them traveling to the higher dimension of the gods.

As of the last update, MAPPA, Crunchyroll, or any company related to the production of the anime has not officially confirmed The God of High School Season 2 release date. Nor has a GOHS Season 2 sequel been officially announced.
Once the news is officially confirmed this article will be updated with the relevant information. In the meantime, its possible to speculate about when, or if, The God of Highschool Season 2 premiere date will occur in the future.
The question is whether Crunchyroll intends to follow the whole story of the GOHS Webtoon with a multiple season adaptation. As we predicted, the fact that the Tower of God anime wasnt immediately renewed meant that fans will also be waiting on a GOHS Season 2 announcement.

The Crunchyroll Original anime ended its original run with episode 13, and currently, there is no official announcement of a The God of High School Season 2. Now, to be fair, Tower of God stood out largely due to the lack of competition. Big-name competitors like One Piece, Boruto, Re:ZERO, Black Clover, and the final season of the Sword Art Online: Alicization anime were delayed by months due to the effects of COVID-19 on the anime industry.
With fewer options available, its not surprising more eyes were on ToG.
Still, Crunchyroll has shown no sign of immediately renewing any of its Crunchyroll Originals for a second season, although representatives certainly teased the Tower of God Season 2 anime.

That is exactly two years after season 1 started airing. Just like the first season, the second season will also have 13 episodes. This comedy shojo series is set at Ouran high school, where the female lead, Haruhi Fujioka, accidentally breaks a valuable vase. To make things right, she joins the host club, where handsome boys reside, and she is thrust into what’s known as a reverse harem.
