Is It Any Good

Metal Fusion is the latest incarnation based on the Beyblade manga franchise, which is accompanied by an extensive line of toys, trading cards, and games. The show falls short on worthwhile content, since it rarely strays from the good-vs.-evil storyline, features lots of bullying behavior from the thug-like bad guys, doesnt relate to real life, and resorts to battles in every instance of disagreement. Any attempt to inject reminders about acknowledging personal strengths and standing up for whats right is lost amid the flashy animation and loud anime style.

Only minor changes separate this latest installment from its predecessors, so kids familiar with the previous storyline will have no problem settling into the show’s new characters and adjusted plot. On a slightly positive note, unlike similar anime series like Bakugan, this show does dehumanize the objects being sent into battle by the kid characters, so theres no risk of the clashes being upsetting to kids. Overall, though, there are plenty more worthwhile choices for impressionable kids.

Super Hyperion Xceed 1A is already an amazing name, so that already makes it seem like its pretty cool. But the actual look of the Beyblade seems so over-the-top compared to some of the other Beyblades in the series, and it definitely blows a lot of them out of the water when it comes to how cool it looks. Its got an awesome whirlpool design. The red, orange, and gold color scheme makes it look like its on fire, which, along with the blue center, makes it look like the Beyblade Iron Man would choose for a Beybattle.

Ryuga wakes during Kenta’s battle Rago and Nemesis. When Ryuga woke up, he told Kenta that there was a time when he had faced his challenge seriously.

Ryuga then gives his Legend Blader power to Kenta by launching L-Drago and circling Saggitario. This helped Flame Saggitario evolve into Flash Saggitario. After Ryuga gave up his powers, he and L-Drago disintegrate due to the fact that the star fragment was what was the only thing preventing this from happening earlier. After Nemesis and Rago are defeated, Gingka thanks Ryuga for all of his help and pays his respects. Ryuga watches over them all from above. yes it did happen

This Series Provides Examples Of:

  • Abandoned Warehouse: The Face Hunters hideout is one.
  • Aborted Arc: Metal Fusion ends with Pegasus using up all of it’s energy and leaving Ginga. Ryo says that one day, Pegasus would return when its energy is restored. Metal Masters opens up with Ginga getting Galaxy Pegasus in the first episode, diminishing any chance for the original Pegasus to return.
  • Adaptation Expansion: The characters and stories are much more fleshed out than in the manga.
  • Adults Are Useless: The only adults that have appeared so far that are useful to the plot in ANY way are Doji, Ryo, Ginga’s deceased dad in a flashback and Dr. Ziggurat in Metal Masters.
  • Almighty Janitor: Ginga, Kyoya, Tsubasa and Yu are all shown as insanely strong when they are introduced, given their shown experience.
  • Masamune as well. Despite not having any real formal experience in Beyblade Tournaments, such as Battle Bladers, he is still ridiculously talented, and manages to defeat GINGA.
  • Anime Hair: The characters have a wide range of hair colors some of them even have Multicolored Hair.
  • Artistic License  Physics: Specifically, in the episode “Shine, Virgo!”, they say that dancers put their arms out to go faster. In all actuality, you pull in to go faster. Try it with a simple rolling chair, or even spin around your room. You get the opposite effect by pushing out. This is actually shown with the Bey Jade Jupiter.
  • Bare Your Midriff: Kyoya and Tsubasa.
  • Five-Man Band: “Masters” had Team Star Breaker.
  • Wang Hu Shong as well.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles

Naruto has its fair share of great games, with Ultimate Ninja Storm being one of the biggest highlights in this regard. However, this is not to say that the franchise is devoid of any horrible titles, with Dragon Blade Chronicles being the worst one of the lot.

While the game does have a fresh storyline with Naruto and Sasuke hunting down the legendary Genry, the horrible combat, clunky controls, and a host of technical issues all combine for a forgettable experience that one’s better off avoiding.

Anyone Remember Beyblade Metal Fusion Masters Fury And Shogun Steel

Beyblade Metal Fusion: Bonds of Steel – Ep.47

Back when I was 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, I was introduced to the world of Beyblade Metal Fusion. This series was a big part of my childhood as a whole, I watched Beyblade Metal Fusion, Masters, and Fury. I even watched Shogun Steel. There is a total of 153 episodes total in the Metal Series. The funny is that I didn’t even know that it was anime. I just thought that it was a normal cartoon. I’m 15 now and I’ve been thinking back on those Beyblade-filled days. Beyblade was my introduction to anime. This series is something really special to me. Beyblade Metal Fury had a darker tone to it, especially in the last couple of episodes. It may be cheesy and kiddy at times, but it’s so much fun. This is not a recommendation to watch Beyblade, just reminiscing. I wish I knew that I was in the good old days before I actually left them.

Gingka’s easily one of the strongest heroes, defeating 100 opponents at once in his debut episode. Unlike other protagonists, he’s also never lost to his main rival , and he has an extensive win record with few defeats. Even then, half his losses are flukes more than true defeats, like Argo’s surprise attack.

Plus, Gingka tends to win rematches against the rare foe who bests him, including opponents like Phoenix, Ryuga, and Rago.

    Lui and Longinus

A world-renowned champion after winning five national championships in a row, Lui ranks remarkably high for someone who isn’t the main protagonist, rival, or villain of his series. In fact, he’s beaten Valt thrice without ever losing to him, and the only three people that have ever beaten Lui have all lost to him at least once.

    Ryuga and L-Drago

    Series: Beyblade: Metal FusionBeyblade: L-Drago

Discounting the time L-Drago’s powers were taken by Rago, Dragon Emperor Ryuga has only ever lost to Gingkawho he’s also beaten multiple times. That’s an amazing ratio considering how many battles Ryuga participates in, chalking up impressive wins against Tsubasa, Doji, and even Ryo Hagane .

    Sakyo and Ronin Dragoon

Series: Beyblade: Shogun SteelBeyblade: Ronin Dragoon

Sadly, we never got to see Sakyo square off against antagonist Kira Hayama, but considering Sakyo’s win record, it’s more than possible he would have won despite Kira’s Evil Gene-boosted powers.

All of the games so far, vary from the main plot and develop original stories and characters, similar to the anime series. The games have been released on home and handheld consoles. What Parents Need To Know

Parents need to know that this anime series is closely tied to a line of trading cards, toys, and games, so kids are sure to be drawn to the merchandise after seeing the show. The content centers on an ongoing battle between civic-minded heroes and a gang of bad guys out to take over the world by mastering the Beyblade battles and defeating their opponents. The good news is that the weapons in this show are spinning tops that knock into each other for points, so no one is hurt in the process. The bad news? The show relies on flashy animation, unrealistic characterization, and the aforementioned marketing ties to keep kids attention, and it doesn’t take advantage of the opportunity to send positive messages to its young audience.

    The Dragon Of Darkness

    Beyblade: Metal Masters (anime)

The tournament arrives in no time, Ryuga accompanying Doji in most cases. His first match was with Hikaru, whom he easily dominated, infuriating the WBBA Spy, Tsubasa Otori. Later he is seen deafting the Dark Nebula bladers who failed in the first round such as the Gemos bros, the Komati bros, Tobio and Testua and leaves Yu to suffer by Regii breaking the kids heart. In the second round Ryuga battles Tubassa next and ends with the same outcome after transferring Ryuga’s own Negative energy onto Tsubasa, cursing him with the Dark Power. With such a close match with Tsubasa, Doji feels concerned that Ryuga may not be able to defeat Gingka and as a compromise, Ryuga drains the negative energy from Doji’s body, supposedly killing him. In the semi-finals, he battles Kyoya and wins despite Kyoya’s determination to beat Ryuga and battle and win against Gingka

With his energy replenished he continues to his final match with Gingka Hagane. Ryuga’s negative energy overflows as L-Drago is able to possess Ryuga’s body during the battle. Gingka’s Pegasus sacrificed itself to destroy its Dark counterpart, defeating Ryuga and destroying the evil Bey.
