Behind the friendly and talented girl in Hori lies a girl who has to perform as the second parent to her younger sibling as their parents are often away from home due to work, and behind the tattooed, pierced, and long-haired guy in Miyamura is a generous person who is haunted by his abandoned history.
As the story develops, so does their closeness and connection. While it is still too early to consider, there is an immeasurable possibility that the series will have another season despite no confirmation yet on the sequels production.

Funimation recently announced that Horimiya is part of their program of English simuldub where it would be dubbed in English.
The titles under Funimation including that of Horimiya are released earlier to the premium access subscribers one week ahead of the general public release of the episodes. Funimation offers this through an active premium subscription with the rate of $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year. After one week, the general public could access the episodes for free.

In February 2021, it was announced in Chapter 121 that the Horimiya mangas ending was scheduled for March 18, 2021. The final chapter will be released in the Monthly G Fantasy April 2021 issue.
That means the manga series will finish with Horimiya Chapter 122: Graduation . Thus, Horimiya Volume 16 will include the final chapters ending.

Horimiya Anime To Adapt All The Way To The Manga Ending
The Horimiya TV anime will release its final episode 13 today, and it looks like it will adapt the manga all the way to the ending. Adapting the final chapter would obviously decrease the chances of a sequel, besides a potential spin-off. Fans already noticed some scenes being skipped in the adaptation for the previous episodes as well. The official Twitter released the preview for the upcoming episode, and we can see some scenes that happen in the very last chapter of the manga.
The scene where Hori grabs Miyamuras hand and starts running happens in the last panels, with Miyamura thinking about the sky. We actually interviewed the director Masashi Ishihama in the early stages of the anime. In one of the questions, we asked about what the fans should look forward to. In HorimiyaEpisode 12, Hithereto, and Forevermore, Hori invited Miyamura to join her, Sota, and Kyosuke, for their Christmas dinner but due to work, Miyamura refused as he would not be available that day, to the disappointment of both Sota and Kyosuke.
On the other hand, Tohru is talking to Sengoku and Iura as regards his feelings for Yuki and how, in reality, they are not really “dating,” he feels that he likes her company and that he feels comfortable with her and what they have. Meanwhile, Sengoku is scared to pay a visit to Remi as he is afraid of bugs.
Hori thinks about what the future holds for them after they graduate from high school. On Christmas day, everyone celebrated the holidays in relaxation together with their families and loved ones. Miyamura made sure that he sees Hori before reporting to work.
While they are walking home, Hori tells Miyamura that she wants to stay together even beyond graduation. The shock comes with Miyamura asking the hand of Hori for marriage. Hori and Miyamura went on to celebrate the New Year together and they think and look about what happens in their future.

What Is The Plot Of Horimiya
The storyline focuses on the popular student Kyouko Hori and the friendless loner Izumi Miyamura. They both met each other outside school and a side of their personality, which they hid from the world, was exposed through the encounter, Miyamura saw Horis housewife side and Hori encountered Miyamuras Punk side with lots of piercings and tied up hair. After saving Horis younger brother Souta, Miyamura was invited to the Hori household. Kyouko at first didnt recognise Miyamura but later got to know that they attend the same school when he addressed her as Hori San. They both enjoyed each others company and started spending time after school, this formed an unlikely bond between the two peers with opposite personalities and appearances, who both were hiding a side of themselves from the world but could show it to each other. Later the other main characters like Yuki Yoshikawa, Toru Ishikawa, Remi Ayasaki, Kakeru Sengoku and Kono Sakura were introduced. The plot revolves around the romantic relationship between Hori and Miyamura while introducing other characters and plotlines.

Horimiya Ova Episodes Already Released For The Hori
You might be surprised to learn that the Hori-san to Miyamura-kun manga has already been animated. From 2012 through 2018, four Hori-san to Miyamura-kun OVA episodes were released by several different studios, including Gonzo and Studio Hood.
Coincidentally, the story for the first four OVA episodes mostly lines up with the first four Horimiya episodes, although there are differences in which scenes are covered. The fourth OVA episode covers plot elements that the main anime didnt adapt until Horimiya Episode 5.
In addition, two additional Hori-san to Miyamura-kun OVA episodes are being planned for release on May 25, 2021. The two OVA episodes will adapt stories from the chapters titled Midsummers Day and A Kind Person.
