Here’s When And How You Can Watch The New Pokmon Journeys Anime Series In The Us And Uk

How to watch Pokemon Journeys | English Dub | Pokemon Sword and Shield Anime |

The new series of the Pokémon anime currently airing in Japan has been treated to its very first western trailer, alongside the news that it’ll be heading to both the US and UK later this year.

Known as ‘Pokémon Journeys’ in the west – the show will begin airing on 12th June in the US and on 1st September in the UK. It’ll be a Netflix exclusive in the US , and will air on POP in the UK.

You can watch the new trailer for yourself above familiar favourites Ash and Pikachu are joined by new companion Go as they set off on a new adventure. We get to see a whole bunch of older Pokémon like Lugia, Mew and Pichu, as well as a couple of new Pokémon Sword and Shield characters like Scorbunny and Corviknight.

It remains to be seen just how much of an impact the western version of the show might face thanks to the current production issues in Japan, but it certainly looks like a good chunk of the series has been localised and is ready to go.

Looking forward to watching this later in the year?

Pokemon: Twilight Wings A Sword And Shield Anime Debuts On Youtube

Inspired by the Pokemon Sword and Shield game, Twilight Wings is set in the Galar region, and the first of seven episodes is now available on the video site.

Pokemon Sword and Shield hit Nintendo Switch in November. It’s getting a pair of expansions later this year, and now you can see its UK-inspired Galar region in anime form. The first episode of Pokemon: Twilight Wings hit YouTube on Wednesday.

If you’ve played Sword and Shield, you’ll recognize characters like dapper Chairman Rose his intense second-in-command, Oleana and Galar Pokemon Champion Leon. But the real fun is spotting all the different Pokemon who show up.

It’s a bit odd that the Pokemon Company went with American voice actors for the English dub, since the game’s script uses so many Britishisms that I imagined all the characters having UK accents. Regardless, the animation in this six-minute episode is slick.

The anime “will show in detail the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, and the conflicts they must resolve,” according to the official site. That suggests we’ll jump to new characters each episode, and we may not see series protagonist Ash Ketchum at all.

Pokemon Sword And Shield Anime Highlights

The series highlights “two heroes” Ash Ketchum and Goh, alongside their partners – Pikachu and Cinderace. Ash and Goh travel far and wide around the world, explicitly all regions that featured in the main series , and meet Pokémon from every region while seeking their goals. Ash proceeds with his quest for turning into a Pokémon Master by entering the World Coronation Series, with the expectations that one day it would enter into an official match with the prevailing Monarch, Leon. Goh, having had a game-changing experience with Mew when he was six, dreams to catch one day, the Mythical Pokémon, and is right now filling his Pokédex in the expectations that it will get him closer to his goals. The series likewise includes supporting characters like a little young girl named Chloe, who has a Yamper, and her father – Professor Cerise, who runs a Cerise Laboratory in Vermilion City.

Watch The First Episode Of Pokemon: Twilight Wings A Short Anime Based On Sword And Shield

The Pokemon Company just released the first episode of a new animated short series called Pokemon: Twilight Wings.

The series is set in the world of Pokemon Sword and Shield and “will show in detail the dreams of Galar’s residents, the realities they face, the challenges they must overcome, and the conflicts they must resolve.” Twilight Wings will span seven episodes, with a new episode coming each month. In other words, the final episode will arrive in July, right around the time of Sword and Shield’s first DLC, The Isle of Armor, which was announced as part of the Pokemon Sword and Shield expansion pass last week.

The first episode, simply titled “Letter,” features some familiar faces like Chairman Rose and his assistant Oleana, but its protagonist is a new character named John. According to the episode description, John has been hospital-bound since he was young, but that hasn’t stopped him from falling in love with Pokemon battles. I won’t spoil the rest of the episode – it’s only six minutes, and you really need to see it.

It’s unclear whether the rest of Twilight Wings will exclusively focus on John’s escapades, but judging from the finale of episode one, many other Sword and Shield characters and Pokemon will make an appearance. It’ll be interesting to hear these characters speak for once, even if they do inexplicably have American accents despite living in a region based on the UK.

Pokémon, a world brimming with new adventures, creatures, and characters, was one of the most memorable parts of our childhood.

It had characters we could relate to, characters we wanted to be like, and the best comedic villain trio, i.e., Team Rocket.

At some point in our lives, though, most of us stopped watching Pokémon and moved on to other series that seemed more interesting.

Nonetheless, we sometimes feel like taking a trip down memory lane, and when we do that, a big hurdle seems to block the way.

A hurdle of more than 1000 episodes long, that is. However, Pokémon never really stopped even after we stopped watching it.

Sword & Shield Anime: 15 Pokmon We Want To See Ash Catch

With Pokémon Sword and Shield coming to the small screen, who should be the Pokémon Ash aims for in the anime series?

The latest installment of the Pokémon series, Sword and Shield, released on Nintendo‘s handheld hybrid to great acclaim. While there’s been a fair bit of controversy over the number of Pokémon from past games you can capture, there has still been a plethora of fans and newcomers enjoying the latest offering from the Pokémon series. So, with a new Pokémon game comes a new season of the TV series for kids and fans to watch. While Ash Ketchum hasn’t caught a lot of Pokémon when we last saw him, we’re hoping he’s able to capture a few more in the latest installment.

: Some time has passed since the release of Pokémon: Sword and Shield, and the Pokémon fans among us have had time to play through the game, catch ’em all, and even enjoy the Isle of Armor DLC. The Galar Region introduced a delightful smattering of new Pokémon for the audience to enjoy and grow attached to. All of this is to say that 10 entries just wasn’t enough to fulfill the wishlist for Galarian Pokémon for Ash to catch in the anime. As such, another five entries of Galarian Pokémon will be added to this list to further speculate about what Pokémon Ash Ketchum will add to his roster during his Sword and Shield journey.

How Much Time Will It Take To Watch Pokemon

When you consider all of the seasons episodes to date, as well as the movies, ONAs, and specials, youre looking at roughly 496 hours and 44 minutes of content, or 22 days of nonstop binge-watching.

Let me show you the runtime of each installment

    • TV series 26795 minutes
    • Movies 2113 minutes
    • Note: The runtimes are approximately calculated.

The plot is about Satoshi, is a 10-year-old boy who aims to be the strongest in the pokemon battle, and the boy who has the dream of getting all Pokemon. Together with Satoshis partner Pikachu and Gos partner Hibani, many other Pokemons are now in the adventure of an unlimited Pokemon world.

The beginning life of pokemon as the main lead has been revealed in the season sword and shield arc, the plot turned out to be unpredictable as the pokemon keep on travelling from one place to another. The chemistry between Ash and Go is appreciated. The two acts as a good balance whereas Go isnt a happy go lucky person and Ash is stubborn. The plot is getting even more competitive day by day production on the series Pokemon.

What Will Happen In Pokemon Evolutions

Pokemon Sword and Shield 2019 Anime Trailer english sub

Unlike the main anime series, each episode of Pokemon Evolutions will follow a Trainer from a different region that has appeared in the core video games, with a Pikachu acting as a guide through each region.

Evolutions first episode The Champion will focus on the Galar regions reigning Champion, Leon, as he battles the powerful Legendary creature Eternatus. That episode is out now.

Its not just Leon that Trainers will recognize, as The Pokemon Company have promised plenty of familiar characters will show up, and it seems like each regions Legendaries will play a big part, too, with Zacian, Zamazenta, Xerneas, and more appearing in the trailer.

The First Four Episodes Are Out Now

Its really hard to keep track of all of the various Pokemon shows that have come out over the last several decades, but thankfully, some of them are free like these Pokemon Evolutions episodes.

So The Pokemon Company has been steadily putting them on YouTube recently, with the intention of running this free series through December 23 which of course ends in the nostalgic Kanto region. Throughout the weeks theyve worked their way through Galar, Alola, Kalos, and Unova, with the next episode heading into Sinnoh on December 2. In other words, Pokemon Evolutions episodes are on a bit of a hiatus at the moment, so its a pretty good time to jump in with the four we have.

If youre not familiar with Pokemon Evolutions, its like a few prior projects in that it consists of roughly eight-minute-or-less episodes, all of which focus on a select few characters from various games like Sword/Shield, X/Y, Black/White, and so on. Leon, Lillie, Lysandre, and Ghetsis have all had starring roles so far.

As you can imagine from the last few names, Nintendo is giving them a sort of Maleficent treatment, shedding more light on their motivations behind the scenes which helps fill in the cracks for a few games. As a main event, they probably arent going to facilitate any you gotta watch this! texts or DMs. But as a fun little freebie show, I like seeing some of these regions get the spotlight again in Pokemon Evolutions.
