The Egg Of The Perfect World
The Egg of the Perfect World was an outcast who survived by scavenging the refuse at the base of the Tower of Convictions. Shunned by others for his appearance, he dug a deep pit into the earth to hide himself from the world which the tower refugees used as a dumping hole for those who had died in the camp. As he was being crushed beneath the bodies, the Behelit he found summoned the God Hand who showed him how the outside world clung to the falsity of religion whereupon he offered both his own existence and his world in exchange for the chance to give birth to a new world. He was then transformed into a living Behelit which moved about on a pair of insect-like legs while his tongue was branded with the mark of sacrifice. During the conviction arc, the Egg used his powers to turn several people around the tower into pseudo-apostles before revealing himself to one of the camp prostitutes so that at least one person would know that he existed. As the time for Griffith’s Resurrection neared, the Egg found Casca’s tainted child lying near death at the tower’s top and in a moment of pity took it inside himself so that it could die in peace just before his body split open, allowing the reborn Griffith to “hatch” back into existence.
Personality: The Black Swordsman Arc
Remember when I said this analysis was going to be beefy? Here’s why. What I’ve described thus far is just the story of Guts in the Golden Age arc, now I’d like to go through his Black Swordsman arc where he undergoes even more dramatic changes.
As the Golden Age closes out, we see Guts as a deranged, violent, skilled swordsman with little to no regard for life as a whole. During the Black Swordsman arc, he calms down a little. Where he was a rabid, wounded animal before we see Guts become a composed beast of sorts.
While he has calmed down and is a little more welcoming, he still never really let go of his savage side because, at this point, it is embedded in his personality. But as he continues this seemingly endless struggle against a violent and demonic world, he reunites with old friends and, most importantly, Casca who was the only other person to make it out of that twisted nightmare realm. This was a rather slow development, but after spending some time on the road with Casca, he realizes the importance of protecting those that you love and that he does, in fact, still love Casca.
In this journey, he meets a number of different people that help him heal and develop following the traumatic events of his life. They teach him to grow from the metaphorical dirt once again like a wilted flower.
Why Was Guts Called The Black Swordsman
In the Berserk manga, after the carnage at Eclipse, the protagonist Guts repeatedly came to be called as the Black Swordsman by everyone, other than his new friends-cum-comrades. I’ve read the manga but I couldn’t figure out the possible reason for it.
However, I do have some following clues but cannot account them as the primary reason for such.
1. In the first and the last episode of the Berserk anime, Guts skin color was neither white nor dark but something different. 2. The color of Guts’s outfit excluding the armor was almost black. After the addition of Berserker Armor, everything he wore was black.
As you can see, these reasons are not very convincing. Therefore, I ask the question again:
Why was Guts called the Black Swordsman?
Note: No racial discrimination or apartheid is intended in 1.

Berserk Gets New Anime Project Featuring Guts As ‘black Swordsman’
The first 2016 issue of OAV, etc.).
Miura comments in the magazine that the anime project will depict Guts in his “Black Swordsman” appearance, which is only revealed in parts of the manga that go beyond any previously animated Berserk story, and is only briefly hinted at in the first and last episode of the 1997 television anime series.
The magazine also notes that the 1997 Berserk television anime series will get a newly priced Blu-ray Disc release with the 2012 HD remaster. The new boxset is slated for an April 20 release, and will cost 18,000 yen .
In addition, Miura will put his Berserk manga on hiatus, with the next chapter coming in “around” summer next year. The manga will also then be published as an irregular series.
Miura had recently resumed the manga as a monthly series in July, after taking a break from Berserk in early 2014 to publish the six-chapter Gigantomakhia

Kou Tanaka Aka Kou Mabuchi
Kou Tanaka is quite popular among female fans. With his cute black hair and beautiful sharp brown eyes, he attracts girls fast. From the more innocent look in his younger days to a more mature one in the older days, we just love him! Because of that, he deserves a place on this hot anime guys list. Kou also has a beautiful smile. But, unfortunately, he doesnt smile often. He is earnest, and people often find him rude. But, a lot of bad things happened in his life. When you look at him from a better perspective, you can see that he is a very kind and good person. Later in anime, he changes his name to Kou Mabuchi.
Characters From Anime Guts Could Beat
Berserk’s Guts isn’t easy to beat, but if anime worlds collided, which of these characters could get the job done?
Berserk by Kintaro Miamura is perhaps one of the greatest manga series of all time, despite the fact that the ’90s OVA and the most recent series have kind of both failed notoriously to live up to the near-perfect execution of the manga. Our “hero” is named Guts.

A man who was raised in and around the military or various mercenary groups since he was but an infant, Guts knows his way around a sword. Not only that, but he’s driven only by pure hatred for the man who wronged him, and he’ll do anything to repay him for that wrong. He also might have a few tricks up his sleeve to be used against the following characters.

Couldn’t Beat Guts: Thorfinn
Thorfinn, the main character of Vinland Saga, is a fairly capable fighter, being agile enough to scale a fortress wall or to outrun an entire platoon of villains.

That being said, he doesn’t actually have any supernatural powers, meaning that he’d be quickly overwhelmed by Guts, even without him wearing the berserker armor. At the very most, Thorfinn would be the equivalent of just a pretty good fighter in the Band Of The Hawk.
List Of Characters In Berserk
The Berserkmanga and anime series features a cast of characters designed by Kentaro Miura. The series takes place in a fictional version of medievalEurope.
It centers around the life of Guts, an orphaned mercenary warrior, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the Band of the Hawk.

Bakugo has red eyes and spiky blonde hair. And, I find spiky hair one of the hottest hairstyles. Because of that and his appearance overall, he is one of the hottest anime guys. Although he has shown us his egoistic, violent, and arrogant attitude, he is also very strong, intelligent, and persistent. And even though he is one of the most unpopular anime characters, we cant deny the fact that he looks good.

Could Beat Guts: Ichigo
Ichigo Kurosaki is immensely powerful, and in addition to his abilities as a particularly strong human, he’s also a shinigami, which means he has pretty much the same job as Guts.

They both spend tons of their time killing demons and the like, the difference is that Guts doesn’t have the same kind of spiritual energy, nor does he have a soul weapon. While Guts is able to take down demon after demon, Ichigo is stronger than most demons, can shield himself, and has immense energy stores.
Where Guts’ Dragon Slayer Sword Is In Elden Ring
Resembling Guts’ Dragon Slayer Sword from the Berserk anime, the Greatsword is an easter-egg weapon hidden within Elden Ring’s Caelid region.
Fans of the Berserk anime series will be happy to know that Guts’ Dragon Slayer Sword has made it into Elden Ring. Of course, the weapon itself isn’t called the “Dragon Slayer Sword” but is instead distinctly designed to resemble the iconic blade. To find it, players must venture fairly far across the map, meaning fans will likely not obtain the sword until sometime later in the game.
Guts’ Dragon Slayer Sword, which is referred to as simply “Greatsword” in Elden Ring, is located along the path between the Sites of Graces at Rotview Balcony and the Caelem Ruins. Players can reach this area by traveling northeast of the Church of Elleh towards the Smoldering Church. Once they’ve arrived at the church, they can continue journeying to the east past the Caelid Minor Erdtree. Elden Ring fans will know they’re close to the sword’s location once the scenery begins to change from the dark green tones of the beginning region to Caelid’s blood-red sky over a land of crimson sand.

Couldn’t Beat Guts: Dio Brando
Yet another character from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure on our list is Dio Brando. The reason he’s included here is that he has almost the same vibe as Griffith, even though Dio isn’t as charismatic and immediately disarming in this arc, he also betrays our hero. Griffith, on the other hand, doesn’t really give up the ghost as quickly as Dio, but they’re comparable characters nonetheless. Guts would absolutely destroy Dio, mostly because he’s already killed more fearsome foes. Both of the main characters of these manga fight through slews of the undead, but only Guts has the resolve and absolute malice in his heart that’s required to take care of Dio, despite his super strength.
Berserk Greatsword Guide For Elden Ring
Like any Greatsword in Elden Ring, the Berserk Greatsword can inflict massive damage to hostile mobs at the cost of one’s mobility. Therefore, players should make sure they understand the basic moves of an enemy or boss before committing to using the heavy weapon. Additionally, the Greatsword comes with a stat requirement of 31 Str to be used effectively. As a result, even if players decide to make the trek to acquire the weapon early on during their playthrough, they may not be able to wield it in battle until much later in the game.
An important detail in Elden Ring to note regarding the Berserk Greatsword’s location is that high-level enemies are surrounding the area. More specifically, the wagon will be guarded by several wolf-like enemies, and other dangerous mobs can also be found near the vicinity. Such foes can take out players within 1-2 hits, even with a high level in Vigor. Hence, those not ready for the challenging fight should use Torrent to rush into the area, grab the sword, and retreat to safety.
Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Rendered Disabled By Demons
During the process of Griffith’s sacrifice and display of power after transforming in a God Hand demon, Guts made a Herculean effort to kill Griffith. In doing so, Guts had to break free from the grasp of the demons or apostles holding him down.
This meant that he had to sacrifice one of his arms. That attempt failed tragically and Guts was pinned down again, only the apostles did so more roughly and punctured one of his eyes, rendering him half-blind. This was the worst physical thing that happened to him.
Getting Adopted By A Mercenary
The people who found him were neither samaritans nor well-off, but mercenaries who are pretty much borderline bandits. The leader of the band was Gambino who also took the initiative in adopting Guts to make use of him in the future.

Unfortunately for Guts, Gambino was a cesspool of issues. He was cruel, unsympathetic, and was never a good father figure to the poor boy. Guts ended up having a love-hate relationship since while he was harsh to the boy, he also ended up raising him.

Couldn’t Beat Guts: Battosai
Battosai The Manslayer really isn’t a force to be trifled with. Unfortunately for him, that’s only really true within the internal logic of his own universe. The protagonist of Rurouni Kenshin is an absolute juggernaut in his home turf, a complete master sorcerer.
The problem shows up mostly when we start to think about Guts’ berserker armor. It allows him to overcome every part of himself that stops him from reaching his full potential and amplifies every other tendency.
Could Beat Guts: Akame
Luckily, Guts wouldn’t actually have to deal with Akame’s specialty of assassination, since he’s usually up all night and doesn’t sleep as a result of constantly being on the lookout for demons. That being said, she does indeed have a Teigu. Her Teigu, which is a type of equipment in the Akame Ga Kill! universe, takes the form of a katana that’s completely coated in a poison that’ll kill someone almost immediately. There’s no way she wouldn’t at least get a cut in on Guts, and once she did, it would be over for him.

Albert M James Moriarty
Albert M James Moriarty is one of the main characters in the anime Yuukoku no Moriarty. He has a thin build, maybe even too thin for my taste. Nevertheless, with his cute brown hairstyle and dark emerald eyes, he definitely catches my eye. His grey suit perfectly suits him and makes his eyes pop even more. His personality is also attractive. Albert is considered to be one of the kindest noblemans. He is very loyal and helpful towards anyone in need.
Licht Bach Real Name Sakai Rihito
Licht Bach, also known as Sakai Rihito, is a main character in the anime Plunderer. We could see him in two distinguished looks and I think they are both attractive. Before, he had a black hair with dark blue eyes. But, after he became one of the 7 Legendary Red Barons, his hair turned white and he now has crimson red eyes. Although he is obviously gorgeous, he usually hides his face with a mask. His personality also altered, which brought some good and somewhat bad changes.

Berserk’s Guts Gets A Makeover With Cool Cosplay
The world of Berserk is perhaps one of the bleakest in the history of anime, with the brutal story of Guts and the Band of the Hawk remaining a fan-favorite despite its horrifically dark themes. With the loss of creator Kentaro Miura last year, fans are still celebrating the legendary franchise, with one fan giving life to the black swordsman by using some spot on Cosplay with a twist. While the future of Berserk’s manga and anime are still up in the air, fans will continue loving the story of Guts and company.
The publishers behind Berserk, Young Animal, seemingly haven’t made a decision as to whether or not Miura’s assistants will continue working on the series following the creator’s death, though the final installment from Kentaro certainly works as a series finale. We may never have the opportunity to see Guts get revenge on Griffith, his former friend and leader of the Band of the Hawk that sent his friends to their death in order to gain more power, but the work that Miura did on the series for decades will last forever and it’s clear that fans won’t forget the story of Berserk any time soon.
Instagram Cosplayer Haruna Cosplay LA shared this brand new take on the Black Swordsman Guts, holding up the Dragon Slayer and proving that fans of Berserk are still creating works to honor the memory of Kentaro Miura as readers wait to hear if the manga will continue via the art of Miura’s assistants:
