A New Light Shines On Alola
Two follow-up games, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, were announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation on June 6, 2017. The games were released exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on November 17, 2017, featuring an alternate storyline set in Sun and Moon’s world, and will feature new Pokémon not available in the original games.

Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station is a closely related spin-off series that aired with the beginning part of Pokémon: Advanced Generation. Multiple Of The Same Legendary
Legendary Pokémon are exactly as their name describes legendary. These beings are rumored to be the most powerful and fearsome creatures in the Pokémon world, and are often hailed as deities or great powers that rule over the land and cosmos.
With that said, there is typically only supposed to be one of each. Ho-oh and Lugia are respectively ruling over different portions of Johto, Mewtwo is a single experimental creature created in a lab, and so on. So, why is it possible to catch multiple of the same Legendary Pokémon, often within the same game? And, how can they be shiny? If there’s only one Groudon, it should either be shiny or it shouldn’t.
What Came First Pokemon Or Digimon
The idea behind Pokémon was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996,originally manifesting as a pair of interlinkable Game Boy roleplaying games. Bandai released a small handheld electronic toycalled ‘Digimon Virtual Pet’ in 1997.

What Is A Sinnoh Stone
The Sinnoh Stone is the latest addition to Pokémon Gos evolution items. Similar to the others such as the Metal Coat, Kings Rock, Sun Stone, etc. It can be used to evolve specific Pokémon into their generation 4 evolutions. Unlike the other evolution items, the Sinnoh Stone can be used on quite a few different Pokémon. While the others only work on 1 or 2, the Sinnoh Stone can create 18 new evolutions.

Meet Up at the Pokémon House? , more commonly known as Pokénchi or Pokémon House , is the successor to Pokémon GETTV, which premiered on October 4, 2015. It is hosted by Shko Nakagawa, Otani Rinka, Hyadain, and Abareru-kun. Similar to its predecessors, it is a variety show featuring reruns of previous anime episodes and special live-action segments. Taken From Digimon: Candle Creature
Using candles as the basis for a monster is somewhat common in games, so this one isn’t quite as strong of a case of ripping off as the others in this list, but it’s still worth pointing out that Pokémon‘s Litwick shares some similarities with Digimon‘s Candlemon.
Aside from the obvious fact that both are candles, the two are also similar in lore, since Litwick’s flame is its life source and if it goes out, the Pokémon passes on, similar to Candlemon, whose flame also keeps it alive, implying that the flame is the real Digimon and the candle is a decoy body.

The seventh generation of Pokémon was announced on February 27, 2016, the franchise’s 20th anniversary with the new games Pokémon Sun and Moon and was released on November 18, 2016.
The anime was quick to follow with a new series, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. As with the previous four series, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon began with Ash Ketchum, headed off to the new region with his Pikachu. His previous companions, Clemont, Bonnie and Serena, have left the series. Ash Ketchum heads off to a new region, Alola, wearing a new set of clothes with his partner Pikachu. For the first time in the anime’s history, Ash wins a game-original Pokémon League and becomes a Champion.
The seventh generation broke several trends within the core series, such as abandoning HM moves, replacing Gyms with island challenge trials, and introducing Legendary Pokémon part of an evolutionary line.

The final entry on our list is also the final instance of a Pokémon and a Digimon sharing traits, elements, and concepts that we’ve chosen to point out. In this case, we’re talking about Agumon, who is similar to Pokémon‘s Charmander and his various evolutions.
Agumon, like Charmander, is an orange reptile creature with claws, green eyes, and fire-powered attacks. Agumon’s next digi-volution form, Greymon, is also pretty similar in concept and appearance to Charmeleona darker, bigger and longer-tailed version of the first formand Charizardstanding tall as a big lizard-like creature with three-clawed hands. These similarities wouldn’t be so bad if both creatures weren’t some of their respective franchise’s most prominent, which is why we have to call out Digimon for appearing to copy Pokémon.

Seen from a distance, the formula for success seems obvious. An extensive gallery of critters, each one lovelier than the next. Creatures with which you establish a relationship similar to the one you could have with a virtual pet to play with friends and strangers. Characters living in a steadily ever-expanding universe thanks to an inexhaustible number of stories, objects, and gadgets we can surround ourselves with, covering the most diverse market niches. Products that can be attractive to any kind of audience regardless of age. The latter is an important factor. Pokémon is an accessible game that has won over fans of all ages, and if we add to this the Japanese love for all things cute and kawaii, the results are obvious. It is fortunate that the character designers ignored Nintendos American divisions opinion, as they had deemed it too cute.
Too cute indeed, so much so that the entire world fell at the feet of Pikachu, his high-pitched voice and electrified cheeks. The undisputed star of most spin-offs always has a prominent position whether were talking about Pokemon themed cafes or one of Yokohamas most prominent events, the annual Pikachu parade in Minato Mirai, which is a fully established occurrence at this point.

Just like the Generation III remakes for the incompatible Generation IRed and Green games and the Generation IV remakes for the incompatible Generation IIGold and Silver games, Pokémon fans have widely speculated that remakes of the Generation III Pokémon games, Ruby and Sapphire, would be made for Nintendo 3DS. Indeed, the paired remakes, titled Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, were revealed in a worldwide announcement on the official Pokémon websites on May 7, 2014 and were eventually released in Worldwide on November 21, 2014.

The main difference between Pokémon and Digimon, both in terms of the creatures and the basic nature of the franchises, is that Pokémon are super-powered pets, beloved ones at that. This very different to how Digimon are seen, as partners, with each Digi-destined only having one Digimon to call their own.
Digimon get stronger with the encouragement of, and bond with, their partners, Digivolving when their partner is in need of their strength and, in Data Squad, they can activate a power-up known as burst mode with their partner’s help. This concept came quite a few years before the incredibly similar concept of Z-Moves that Pokémon Sun and Moon introduced later on, making us a bit suspicious.

Perhaps one of the most obvious similarities between Pokémon and Digimon is the shared “Mon” suffix. In both instances, this is short for “monsters,” Pokémon meaning “Pocket Monsters” and Digimon expanding to “Digital Monsters.” Abbreviations like this are not uncommon with Japanese properties, but which of these two did it first?
Well, contrary to popular belief, Digimon actually didn’t come first many believe that the Tamagotchi-like toys that launched the Digimon came first, but they actually hit stores about a year after the first Pokémon games, Red and Green, came out. This is to say that, since Pokémon came first, Digimon was the one that “copied” the “Mon” suffix.

Let’s Go Back To Kanto Again With Pikachu And Eevee
On May 30, 2018, it was announced that two new Pokémon games in the main Pokémon franchise, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, were going to be released on November 16, 2018. Regardless of whether or not this was taken from Pokémon, the rivalry of Tai and Matt, as well as T.K. and Davis of Digimon Adventure 02, play a lot like Ash/Red and Gary’s/Blue’s rivalry, the two spurning each other to get stronger while also being friends.

By now, you all know that Digimon began as a series of Tamagotchi-like games that allowed kids to take care of a monster and raise it into a strong fighter that battled against others with the toy. The concept was later used by Pokémon, which released a Pikachu digital pet toy about a year after Digimon toys became popular.

This isolation has led to what the anthropologist Anne Allison calls shadow families: attachments to imaginary characters from games, comics, or anime for companionship, and a dependence on gadgets such as Walkmans or Game Boys for relaxation.
The Pokémon movie franchise was part of the game’s global popularity
This was something Tajiri knew from personal experience. Tellingly, the storyline of the Pokémon games that launched the series, opened with the player-character immersed in a traditional video game played on a television, who then put down the controller and headed outside even as his mother remained glued to her own TV. The aspirational message was obvious. The previous generation who had so transformed the landscape would be of little help. This was a world where young people would need to forge new tools and allies to make their way.
